It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Eng,Thomas Elly Kwendo of Safaricom Nairobi, which occurred on 06/02/2017 at The Aga Khan University Hospital after a short illness.

Loving husband of Happiness Fatuma Kwendo. Loving dad of David Kwendo and Mary Awinja, both of Playway Education Centre. Dear son of Mr. David Kwendo Achinda and Mrs. Phyllis Ayuma Kwendo (H/T Ebwali Primary school). Son in-law of the late Mr. Abed Makara & late Mrs. Merisiana Ntabuza and Mr. Antony & Mrs. Esther Ntabuza of Tanzania. He was a caring brother of Mr. Samwel Kwendo, Mrs. Joy Kiarie of Murang’a, Mr. Simeon Kwendo and Mr. Alfred Achinda and the late Rosemary Anyanzwa. Brother-in-law of Mr. Jeremy Kiarie, Matrida Abed Makara, Aisha Abed Makara and Haji Abed Makara. Nephew of Fredrick Achinda, Phanice Boaz, Phloice Ombima, Rev. David Ochieng, Alice Outa, Eldah Akhaukwa, Perace Kabasi, Dr. Rubai Mandela, Peter Ochieng, advocate Herbert Ashiruma and others. Grandson of Rev/Mrs. Simeon Ochieng and the late Mr. /Mrs. Samson Achinda. He was an uncle and cousin of many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place daily at Tumaini meeting chambers, behind Kencom bus stage in town at 5pm.There will be a Church Service in his honour and viewing of the body on Wednesday, 15/02/2016 at ACK St. Martins Kahawa Wendani starting 11am. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for his final resting place at Ebwali village, Luanda constituency in Vihiga County on Thursday 16/02/2017. Burial will take place on Saturday 18/02/2017.

‘Dear husband/son/nephew/brother, we had so much love, hope and faith in you but fare thee well in the lord God. Thank you for being a blessing to us’.

    It is sad to see you go. I just found out a few minutes ago and now I wonder. I was trying to reach you a while back. I’ll always remember your humility and hard working nature. You and the family you left are in my thoughts and prayers.
