Harun Ongwae Onyimbo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our beloved father Harun Ongwae Onyimbo which occurred on 28th February 2017.

He hailed from Nyamira County, Mwongori Sub-location. Son of the late Alfayo Onyimbo and the late Bathseba Manani. Husband of Pauline Morangi, father of Pamela Kwamboka (USA), Norah Moraa, Welmah Nyambeki (USA), Tom Nyaunga (Jamaica), Stellah Onyimbo (KPLC), Walter Mwene, Gideon Onyimbo (KPLC), father-in-law of Pascal Momanyi (USA), Jairus Omwoyo (USA), Shona Mila (Jamaica), Everlyne Moraa, and Rose Kirai. Grandfather and great grand-father of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Pangani Estate House No.2 and EHS Aga Khan Walk Demonstration Centre on 3rd and 6th March 2017 from 5p.m.

Burial will take place on 10th March 2017 in his home Nyamira County Mwongori Sub-location.

Daughter of the late Parminus Kihato Ngine and Rhodah Wangari Kihato, Wife of the late Josephat Thungu Gichung’wa. Loving and dear mother of Joe and Nancy Gichung’wa, John Gichung’wa, Carol and Eric Wasewe and Kristin Wangari Gichung’wa. Grandmother of Stephanie, Hazel and Kevin Gichung’wa, Crystal and Joshua Wasewe. Sister of Kihara, Kamamanja, Grace Mwangi, Njoroge, Kuria and Kanyoro

. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Friday 3rd March at 8am for the funeral service at Consolata Shrine, Westlands at 10am followed by the burial at her homestead in Gakoe, Giathieko sub-location, Githunguri, Kiambu County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of David Njau Wakio “Baba” (Milano Commercial Agencies) on 27th February 2017 after a short illness at Mediheal Hospital Nakuru.

Son of the late Michael Wakio Kiguru & the late Grace Wambui. Husband of the late Elishipha Wangechi Njau. Father of Kelvin Ng’ang’a, Grace Wambui, Marion Wanjiku, Faith Wanjiru (Mary Leakey Girls) and Ann Wamahiga (Excel Academy). Brother of Margaret Kamanu (Githunguri Sub County), late Kiguru, late Mukami, Njoroge, Njeri, Kinyanjui. Step brother of Kiguru, the late Wanjiru, the late Kimani, Wanjiku, Njoroge and the late Mbugua. Son in law of the late Samuel Wanderi and the late Marion Wanjiku of Simbara Scheme, Ndaragwa, Nyandarua County. Brother in law of Johnson Wanderi, Murithi, Muhia Advocate, Wanjiru, Theuri, King’ori, Wanjuki, Mwangi, Njeri and Kariuki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Naka home, Nakuru, Kitengela-Maasai Discovery and Ngungungu, Kiambaa (Kiambu) as from 5pm.

The cortege leaves PN Ngari Funeral Home (Mediheal Nakuru) on Tuesday 7th March 2017 at 7am for burial at Ngungungu Village, Kiambaa sub county, Kiambu County.

It is with profound shock that we announce the untimely death of CPA Simon Kiptanui McToo that occurred on 22nd February 2017.

The last born of Apostle and Mrs Johana Mwei of Simat, Eldoret and Toro/Cherangany, Kitale. Brother of Teresa Morogo (SRI Kisumu), Emilly Bett (KCB), Peris Rono (Kericho), Solomon McToo (MKU Kericho), Elly McToo (USA), Joshua McToo (Qatar), Damaris Kiptoo (USA) and Sheillah Kurgat (Land Registrar, Nandi). He was also a brother of Samwel, Amos, Lilian, Milka, Joel, Lenah, Josephat, Aaron, Rose, Joseph and the late Nelson: All of Cherangany, Kitale.

Brother in law of Joseph Morogo (KU), John Bett (CBK), Nicholas Rono (FCRI, Njoro), Eddah Too (Kitale), Honorata Too (USA), Dorcas Too (Toro), John Kurgat (Choronok, Eldoret) among others. His body will be removed from MTRH mortuary today Friday 3rd March 2017 at 2pm for an overnight vigil at home. Simon will be laid to rest on Saturday 4th March 2017 at his parents’ home in Simat, Uasin Gishu County.

Beloved husband of Martha Mbeke. Father of Sammy Muteo, the late Jonah Musyoki, Titus Nyamai, Daniel Kimeu (NDMA), Esther Ndulu, Naomi Mumbua and Ruth Mwikali. Grand and great grandfather of many. The body lies at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest on 9th March, 2017 at his home in Kakili, Nguu/Masumba Ward, Kibwezi West, Makueni County.

The cortege leaves St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital Kiirua at 8.00a.m. on Monday, 6th March 2017 to Holy Family Catholic Church, Nkabune, for send-off mass at 10.00a.m. Thereafter the burial will take place at the Nazareth Sisters Motherhouse cemetery.
