Joseph Njuguna Gituru

June 12th 1945 – Feb. 24th 2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Mr. Joseph Njuguna Gituru (Retired Senior Lecturer of Kenya College of Communication and Technology) the first born child to the late Bedan Gituru Njuguna and the late Jemimah Njeri Gituru.

Husband of Grace Wanjira Njuguna. Father of Maina Njuguna, Dickson Njuguna, Martin Njuguna and Caroline Njuguna-Salamba. Brother of Francis Mwangi, the late John Kinyanjui, the late Teresiah Njeri, Charles Mucheru, Phillip Muturi, the late James Kariuki, the late Stephen Kiarie, the late John Macharia, Robert Muigai and Nancy Wanjiku. Father-in-law of Catherine Maina, Monica Githui, Eva Mwangi and James I. Salamba. Grandfather of Layla Maina, Jomo Mwangi, Eli Salamba, Nina Maina, Eta Salamba, Amani Mwangi and Prince Maina.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the late Joseph’s home in Kiguoya village, Murang’a County.

The cortege leaves General Kago Funeral Home Thika on Tuesday March 7th 2017 at 9.00am, followed by the funeral service and burial at his home Kiguoya Village, Ithiru Location, Kandara Subs-County, Murang’a County.
