The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Wednesday 19th April 2017 at 8am for burial at his home in Kyevaluki-Kangundo, on the same day.

She was daughter of the late Amos Mathenge Gikonyo and Ruth Wanjiku Mathenge of Kiandere Village Nyeri County.

Wife of Moses Nderitu Kimaru formerly of KMTC.

Mother of Amos Mathenge of Nairobi City County, Jackline Nderitu, Ben Wachira and Charles Maina. Grandmother of Julian, Ethan, Jaba, Brandon and Joyce Wachira.

Sister of the late Esther Gitahi, Isaac Gikonyo, late Elizabeth Wanyitu, Danile Mwarag, Alfred Kibabui, Joseph Wambugu, Rebecca Mathenge and Rahab Maranga. Step sister of Hannah Munyi, late Dolly Coffey, Harun Gikonyo, late Wairimu Gikonyo, Njoki Gitonga. She was an aunt, cousin, colleague and friend to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting for fundraising and prayers at City Hall Nairobi (entrance opposite Garden Square Restaurant) from Tuesday 18th April 2017 at 5.30pm and Chomazone Restaurant Nyeri.
