It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the Korega family, announce the demise of Mzee Agusto Ogutu Alam.
Son of the late Johanna Alam and Sarah Opondo (Nyajera). Beloved husband of the late Hellen Ogutu, Mary Ogutu and Edwina Ogutu.Brother of the late Andrea Alam, the late Salome Odongo, the late Rosa Osoro and Omondi Alam. Cousin of the late Gilbert Ondullo, the late Gilbert Okinyo, the late Benea Orega, late Nicholas Orega, late Samwel Orega among others. Father of John Alam, Helida Owino, late Naftali Owino, David Ogola (KDF), the late Alice Anyango, Millicent Adhiambo, Risper Achieng, late Akinyi Ogutu, Samwel Okech, Charles Ooko (Bungoma County), Consolata Atieno (REEP NGO, Busia), Salome Agutu, Martin Odhiambo, George Alam,Anhe Aloo (Kenya Police), Moses Opondo, Maurice Owino, William Ogutu (Parliamentary Aspirant for Embakassi Central Constituency) and late Salome Atieno. Uncle to Maurice Okoth, Ajobs Kodongo, Sarah Omondi, Nelly Oluoch, Geoffrey Osoro,Allan Osoro, Margret Osoro, Awino Osoro, David Orega, Benter Orega and Henry Okinyo among others.

Father in law to Rose Ogola, Sylvia Ooko, Jane_ Ochieng, Emily Musonyi ochieng (Nyamatunda), Mary-Gorrety Owino, Sabina Opondo, the late AnthonyOwino (Uriya), late Paul O. Wagumba (Rang’ala), Samson Juma (Masambra) and Job Gatuku (Embu). Mzee has left behind 53 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. T’he cortege leaves’ Ukwala level 4 hospital mortuary on Friday 14/04/2017 at 10.00am for funeral service and burial on Saturday 15/04/2017 at Ujumba village, Simur-East sub-location Ukwala location, Ugenya. district Siaya county starting at 10.00am next to Awendo market.
