Mother of Elder Hesbon Maranga (Adult Education-Egerton), Lilian Kwamboka (KCB-Egerton). Grandmother of Joyce, Samuel, Keragia, Meshack and Stanley. Sister of the late Samuel, the late Priscah, Peter, Pauline, Yobesh, the late Joyce, Kemunto, Bonareri, Col. Obaga, Moruri, Justice Elijah Obaga and Ntabo among others. Cousin of Onkoba Maranga, Omwoyo, Moraa, Cecilia, Ondima, Mirewa among others. Sister-in-law of Rose, Elizabeth, Rebecca, late Nyarega & Ratemo among others. Niece of the late Maranga Onkoba, Mochama and Boraya among others. Funeral arrangements are taking place daily at her residence at Njoro. The cortege leaves War Memorial-Nakuru on Sunday, 21st May 2017 for overnight stay at her residence.

Burial service at Njoro Central SDA Church grounds on 22nd May 2017 as from 9:00am, thereafter interment at her Kapsita Farm, Elburgon Opposite St. Claire School at 2pm.

Grandmother of the late George and the late Mercy Nyamango, Chris and Jebet, Quentin, Sharon and Solomon, Rodney, Zaline, Linnet and Joash, Prisca and Timothy, Sam and Joanne, Barnabas, the late Wayde, and Philip. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 18th May 2017 for Funeral service at St. Peters Riruta from 3.00 p.m. The body will be taken to her home Sidindi, Ugenya thereafter.

Burial will be held on Saturday 20th May 2017.

We regret to announce the death of Esther Wangu Kiama, wife of the late Stanley Kiama Mutahi of Kihato village Naromoru, Nyeri County, and mother of Antony Mutahi Kiama which occurred on 14/05/17 at Mathari Hospital after a long illness.

She was daughter of Miriam Muguro and Moses lrungu of Ngaini village. Sister of the late Nyokabi, late Nderitu, Jedidah, Ngiru, Nyaruai, Kiguta, Nyaguthii, late Muriithi and grandmother to many.

Burial will take place on Monday 22/05/17 at Kihato village in Naromoru. The body will be transported from Mathari Hospital to the rave side.

She was sister to the late Tuei Arap Cheriro, Obot Joshua Rop, Chebos Arap Cheriro, Sigilai Arap Cheriro, Musa Arap Cheriro, Obot Tapargoi Bacheche, Taplule Chebereng and Tapnyole Saksak. She was loving mother to Mrs. Grace Chumo, the late Mr. Jonathan Ng’etich, Mrs. Elizabeth Kibowen, Mr. Joseph Ng’etich of Kenkal Msa, Mrs. Rose Maiyo, Mr. Alfred Ng’etich of Post Office Kitale, Mr. Geoffrey Ng’etich and Mrs. Joyce Muttai of Multimedia University. She was mother in law to Mr. Michael Chumo, Mrs. Regina Ng’etich of St. Raphael Kitale, Mr. Joseph Kibowen, Mrs. Jane Ng’etich, Eng. Patricia Nthambi Mbindyo,

The cortege will leave Litein mission hospital on Friday 19th May 2017 at 2.30p.m to Tebesonik Village, Bureti, Subcounty, Kericho County for a brief funeral service. The main funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday 20th May 2017 at the family homestead, starting 10am.

 It’s with profound shock that we announce the sudden death of Justus Kimani Ocharo, formerly of Kenya National Audit Office, which occurred in Nairobi on 15th May, 2017.

Son of the late Johnson Ocharo Nyamwanda and Esther Moraa Ocharo of Kitaru Settlement Scheme, Nyansiongo, Nyamira County. Husband of Georgina Mbithe and father of Eugene Mong’are and Annabell Monyangi. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Mbithi Mwanunga and Anna Mukii. Brother of Lawrence Moturi, Sarah Evans, Pam Mugoya, Jane, Tom, George, Maureen, Beatrice and Irene. In-law of Margaret, Mugoya, Evans, Christine and the late James.

Meetings are on-going at his Kasarani home and at Rapid Foods (KICC). Burial date will be announced at a later date.

She has left behind 9 children & 12 step children namely: Nicholas, Franscisca (NCC), Boniface (Msa County-Public Health), Cleopas, Geoffrey, Vincent (KRA), Wilfred, Christine (Business-lady) and Catherine (Fair Field Academy), late Paul, John, Mbatha, Fredrick Mbindyo (KENAO, Msa), Florence (Teacher), Ndolo, Kanyawa, Ndunge, Nduku, Zipora, Ruth and Nthaa. Daughters in-law – Agnes, Evelyn (ETG), Faith, Hellen, Faith and Christine, Munyiva, Alice and Loice (Head Teacher). Sons-in-law; Japheth (Ministry of Interior), Benjamin (ETG), Cosmas Daniel, Gedion, among others. She left behind 18 grandchildren namely: Annastacia, Stephen, Moris, Jacinta, Phylis, Caroline, David, Erick, Faith, Wema, Israel, Getrude, Maggy, Mwendwa, Emmanuel, Grace, Hope and Pablo among others.

The cortege leaves KNH Mortuary of Saturday 20th May 2017 at 7:00 am for her home, and thereafter burial will take place on the same day.
