It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Joseph Momanyi Abincha of Kineni Settlement Scheme which occurred on 22nd April 2017.
Son of the late Benjamin Abincha and Jemimah Abincha. Husband of Gladys Momanyi. Father of Brian Monda,Vincent Omambia, Diana Kerubo, the late Benjamin Abincha and Joseph Benjamin Abincha Momanyi. Brother of the late Grace, Caren, Florance, Dennis Abincha, Rose Lumumba, Veronica, Martin, the late Lydia, George, Enock, Robert, Chief, Josiah, Nimrod, and Jared Mosoti. Son-in-law of Nelson Aruga and Alice Nyanchama, brother in law of Victor, Samuel, Evans, Philes, Priscilla and Morara.
There will be a meeting of family and friends today, 2nd May 2017 at Finance House 5th floor starting 5.00pm for funeral arrangements.The main fundraising will be held on 3rd May 2017 starting 5 p.m at 680 Hotel.
The cortege will leave Hema Hospital Mortuary on 4th May 20 I 7.The funeral service and burial will take place on 5th May 2017 at Kineni Settlement Scheme, Esise Ward, Borabu Sub-county, Nyamira County.

Husband of Lilly Atieno of SOS Nairobi. Father of the late Catherine, Kevin Omondi — Barding High School, Paul Okite Jnr — CITAM School Woodley, Joy Bella — Good Shepherd Nursery School and Jeremy. He was born of Mzee Paul and the late KathrinaAgunda Okite of Kalkada Village, West Alego Location, Siaya County, step son of the late Anastasia Ochola. Son-in-law of Mzee Hanington and Isabella Ngesa of Nyapiedho Village, Sakwa, Bondo. Brother of late Veronica Awuor, Patricia Adhiambo, Dennis Okite and Julius Ochieng. He was step brother of Margaret Awino, Peter Odhiambo (Odhise) Kevin (Obako) among others. Brother-in-law of Late Milly, Lillian Kavesa, Everlyn, Liz, Betty, Getty, Judy and David Ngesa among others. The main fundraising organized by friends and family will be held on Tuesday 2nd May 2017at the All Saints Cathedral from 5pm. The cortege will depart from Chiromo Hospital Morgue on Thursday 4th May 2017 at 10.45 am.A requiem mass will e held at CITAM Church, Valley Road from where the body will depart to his official residence at Olympic Estate for Overnight Stay. On Friday 5th May 2017 at 3.45am, the body will depart for Alego Kalkada, Siaya County for Night Vigil and Prayers at his Father’s homestead in Kalkada Village. The  burial will be held on Saturday 6th May 2017 at his Father’s homestead in Siaya County.

Her Excellency Ambassador Margaret Wambui Kenyatta, CBS

1928 – 2017   We, the family of the late Her Excellency Ambassador Margaret Wambui Kenyatta, thank the Almighty God for the gift of ‘Cucu’, and for the quality time He granted us to share with her, the memories of Which we shall forever cherish in our hearts. We humbly wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to relatives, friends, neighbour and well-wishers for their presence, prayers, words of comfort, messages of condolence and expressions of love and support.
We acknowledge and give special thanks to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, Her Excellency the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and the entire Kenyatta and Muigai families for their support during this time. We also thank the funeral committee for guiding the funeral preparations and ensuring the best possible send-off for Cucu.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Cucu’s former colleagues and friends, especially the ‘Ex-Afrique G’, the Kenya Girl Guides and the Trefoil Guild, for standing with us during thi trying period. We are truly grateful to the PCEA St. Andrews Church clergy; the PCEA District 20 members and the PCEA St. Andrews choir for leading the prayer meetings at her home and conducting her burial ceremony. Special thanks as well to Rev. Tom Otieno and Juja Preparatory School for their evening prayer session. We also wish to thank Cucu’s care givers and medical staff for the tireless and loving care they afforded to Cucu in the later years of her life and for making her comfortable up until her last day.
To all those who supported us during this time with essential services, particularly the Nairobi City County, the National Police Service, and the various hospitality service providers, please accept our deepest gratitude and appreciation.
We also appreciate the immense support of all those who travelled from far and wide to be with us as we laid Cucu to rest. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to celebrate Cucu’s beautiful life with us. Wife of the late Paul Mbugua Hungu. Mother of Rev. Peter K. Njogah, Rose Wangari Mutero, Daniel Njihia, the late Joseph Thairu, Mary Waithira Maina, Danson Mwangi, Prof.Waceke Wanjohi, Rev. Rahab Wambui Gakuru and Rev. Elizabeth Wanjiru Ngunyi. Mother-in-law of Rev. Beth Njogah, the late Peter Mutero, Margaret Njihia, Emma Thairu, Maina Kimani, Luke Wanjohi, Dr. Damaris Mwangi, Rev.
