Brother of the late Mureithi Muchina, the late Eliud Mugo, the late David Murage, Mrs Ann Gichuki, Mrs Bilha Gatheru, Margaret Wanjiru, Mrs Grace Murimi — Principal Kerugoya School For The Deaf, Mrs Nancy Muchina-Mwangi of Kirinyaga County Government and Mrs. Faith Maina. Son-in-law of the late J.T. Ngugi and Mrs Andelina Njeri Ngugi of Maragwa. Uncle of Mrs Mary Mwangi, Principal Kiaragana Girls High School, among many others. Cousin of Dr. Purity Macheru-Irungu of U.o.N., among others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home  in Ridgeways Springs, off Kiambu Road from 5.00pm, and his Kianguenyi home.There will be meetings at All Saints Cathedral on 3rd and 4th May from 5pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday, 6th May 2017 at 7.00am.
