Doting sister of Serah Mukuhi Ndungu (Kanunga), Margaret Wangari Nginyo Kariuki (Limuru), Grace Njeri Thomas (Kangari Murang’a), the late James Kiragu, Francis Gitau Macharia (Sharp) – Githiga,Viriginia Wanja Mburu (Karunga) and the late Cecilia Wanjiku. It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Elvis Ochieng Ragot, which occurred on 25th May 2017.

Son of the late Francis Ragot and Eunice Ochanjo of Royal Golf Club Nairobi. Grandchild of the late Zablon Ochanjo and Monica Auma Ochanjo. Nephew of Erick, Roseline, Eunitor, Doreen, Grace, Rosemary, Eunice and the late Edwin, Domans and Jeckton. Brother of Brian, Sharon and Brenda. Jagjit Singh Kular

16/4/1942 – 12/6/2017

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Jagjit Singh Kular which occurred on 12th June 2017. Son of the late Bachittar Singh and Gurbachan Kaur. Husband of Sukhvinder Kaur. Father of Kiran and Aman. Grandfather of Nay. Brother of the late Hardial Singh and the late Hardev Singh.

Jagiit was a distinguished hockey player. He represented Kenya at the Mexico 1968 and Munich 1972 Olympic Games, the Barcelona 1971 and Amsterdam 1973 World Cups.

Later in Canada he was involved in coaching, administration and management of the national team there.

His funeral will take place on Tuesday 20th June 2017, in Toronto, Canada.

1st Anniversary

Jemimah, it’s been 365 days since you sadly departed from us, we have realised that in grieving one never heals from the pain and emptiness of losing a loved one. We just simply learn to live one day at a time with a heartache that gradually becomes a part of us.

Though you are gone, you are still fondly remembered for your compassion and friendship, your laughter and sense of humour, your hardworking nature and integrity plus your very strong values and discipline, your great respect and love for everyone you met in life and above all your love for cooking. Every moment we spent with you is a moment forever cherished in our hearts. You were a great parent to your children and also a loving daughter to your parents and only sister to your brothers. We celebrate your life even in death and every day because you made the world a brighter and better place for many.

Daughter-in-law of the late Benjamin Elisha Ateka and Florence Amukowa of Ebusikhale Epang’a Luanda Constituency. Sister-in-law of Alice, Emmy, Caren, Lucy, Bilhah, Catherine, Evaline and Damaris.

Beloved son of Prof. Ronald Wasike (Aga Khan University Hospital) and Mrs. Catherine Wasike (Kenyatta National Hospital). Brother of Marion Cheti (KWFT) Eric Wasike (East African Packaging), Mercy Nasubo Wasike (Royal Bank of Canada). Days have turned into an year since that painful moment when you left us for His Glory. We still feel profound pain in our sorrowful hearts as we miss you dearly.We are however grateful for the wonderful and blessed years that God allowed us to be graced with your presence and love. Our dearest Dad you are still so alive and warm in our hearts as much as the pain and sorrow still lingers on.
We are grateful to God for who you were to us; such a caring and loving husband, Dad and a community shaper.We cherish and miss every moment when we remember words of wisdom you spoke to us. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Michael Sauni Sigwaza. Michael passed away on Thursday the 8th of June 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. He was the son to Ernest and Anastanzia Wakesho Sigwaza . Brother to baby Nandi Sigwaza (3 weeks old ) grandchild to Gertrude Mokoi of Taveta, Kenya and Mr and Mrs Michael Sigwaza of Durban, South Africa.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael on Saturday the 17th of June at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 60 Sturges Road, Wokingham, RG40 2HE from 2-4pm.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday the 23rd of June at the same venue from 11 am and thereafter Michael will be laid to rest at All Saints Churchyard, Wokingham which is a walking distance from Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
