Prof. Mathew Munguti Katui Katua

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Prof. Mathew Munguti Katui — Katua of Centre for Social Planning and Administrative Development (CESPAD) after a long illness bravely borne. Son of the late Munguti Kimondi and Late Rebecca Kanuu. Husband of Magdalene Mpho (Makitela) (S.A). Father of Simon Kitela (S.A), Katui Junior (Canada) and a daughter (S.A). Step son to Kaluki Munguti. Brother of Benadetta Kethi, Lawrence Mutia and Roseana Kamanthe, Mueni, Nyenze, Kimanthi and others, Nephew of Late Kinyili, Beth Kavata, Late Mwangangi, Late Mukii, Late Katunge and Mutethya. Brother in law of Mutinda and Bibiana, Uncle of Mukula, Thomas, Kimondi, Ndulai and Many others. Cousin of the Masesi’s, Kimilu’s, Mwangangi’s and many others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria and his Nl<oroi North home-, Ongata Rongai from 6.00p.m. for burial arrangements. There will be a fundraising on Thursday, 15th June, 2017 at Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria. . The cortege leaves Montezuma & Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi on Saturday, I 7th June 2017 at 9.00 am followed by funeral service at his home in Nkoroi North Village, Olkeri Ward, Kajiado North Constituency, Kajiado County.
