Daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Mwanu. Wife of late Stephen Magambo Mungiiria, Sister to late Kathuguci, Kiacia and late Kanyua.

Mother of Tom & late Prof. Ciriaka Kithinji, Lucy & late Mbae, Teresa & Dr. Riungu, Wanja Munyugi, late John, Ceasar & Catherine and Luke & Kate.

Stepmother of Kinoti, Nduuru, Marangu and Kawira. She is survived by 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be meeting for prayers at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga plaza, Sts. Perpetua and Felicitas from 5:30 PM on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th July 2017.

Meetings and prayers are being held daily at her Kiserian home from 5.00pm and on Monday 17/07/2017 at PCEA Evergreen Church (Runda) from 6.00pm. There will be prayers on Sunday 16/07/2017 at Kiserian at 2.30pm. Brother of Samuel Kioi Watunu (Nakuru), Susan Wamaitha Ng’ethe, Dan Watunu, Pastor Daniel Mwangi Watunu, John Kimani (China), Ann Wambui Mbuthia, Benson Maina (Kaimbaga), Alice Wachira (Chiwa), Mary Wamaitha, the late Gitundu Watunu and the late Maina Watunu among others. Son in-law of Mary Wairimu Ng’ang’a of Elburgon. Father-in-law of John Nderitu. Grandfather of Shantel, Diamond, Junita and Lukas.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Sandton Palace Hotel along Taveta road from 6-8pm for prayers and funeral arrangements and at his home in Gikigii village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday 18th July 2017 at 8am for funeral service and burial at Gikigii village, Gacharage location, Kinyona ward, Murang’a County.

The family of the late Mama Norah Rose Aliaro Anam wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty God for blessing us with a loving mother, grandma, sister, aunt and cousin. We wish to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for the prayers and messages of support and sympathy received through personal visits, telephone calls and social media from many loving relatives from Kirinyaga, Uholo and Kianjuri family, friends, clergy and neighbours. We sincerely thank each one of you by name for the overwhelming generosity and support following the promotion to glory of our beloved darling mother, grandma, sister, aunty, cousin and best friend.

We thank the Ambulance team that rescued Mama at KICC on the morning of 13th June 2017, the Doctors and medical team that attended to Mama at Better Living SDA clinic.The Doctor who made calls to family members to get to the hospital in the shortest time possible. Daughter of the late Paul Bett Ngisirei and the late Dorcas Cheptoo Ngisirei and daughter in-law of the late Livingstone Maina and the late Eunice Maina, the late Taputany and Elizabeth Maina. Wife of Marcelly Lelei, co-wife of Priscilla Lelei and Elizabeth Lelei. Loving mother of Norah Korir (Chepwagan), Trine Koech (Longisa hospital), Caroline Rotich (Standard Investments Bank), Gilbert Yegon (Nairobi), Lily Tonui(Java Nairobi), Samson Yegon (Equity bank) and Nelly Chepkemoi(Kenyatta University). Her body will be removed from Litein Mission Hospital on Monday 17th July 2017 for overnight stay and burial on Tuesday 18th July 2017 at home ground Chebinyiny village, Kericho.
