It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Monicah Njeri Kahiga of Sagana Town, which occurred on Friday 7/07/2017.

Wife  of the late Jonanah Kahiga Wanderi. Mother of Mary Wangui Gathogo, Emilio Wanderi Kahiga, Esther Wanjiku Kahiga (UK), the late Paul Githinji Kahiga, the late Lucy Wambui Kahiga, the late Maryann Wanjiru Kahiga and Peter Warui Kahiga. Mother-in-law of Susan Wanuna Wanderi, Beatrice Wanjiru Githinji and the late Irene Wairimu Warui. Sister of David Karanja, Simon Wainaina Githinji, the late Joseph Mbugua Maguta of Lanet-Nakuru, the late David Gatuire, the late Wanjiru Githinji, the late Mary Nduta Njaaga and the late Ndichu Githinji. Step-sister of Kinyeru Maguta, the late Joseph Mundati (Nyahururu-Igwamiti, Shadrack Mbugua among others. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements daily at her son’s (Emilio Wanderi Kahiga) residence in Kerarapon-Ngong and at her home Sagana Town. The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home-Nairobi on Tuesday 18/7/2017 at 7.00am for funeral Mass at Our Lady Consolata Sagana Catholic Parish and thereafter burial her in Sagana.
