It is with deep sorrow that we announce death of Nadine Shamel Jeruto.

Beloved daughter of Engineer Nelson Maritim (Chief Officer, Lands, Uasin Gishu County) and Leonida Maritim (Teachers Service Commission) of Kaptel Location, Nandi County-.

Sister of Ivy Jerop, Ian Kimutai and Jan Kiptoo. Grand-daughter of Maritim Chumo and Everlyne Chumo of Kaptel and Mr. Casmiry Kenei  and Veronicah Kenei of Chepyewet Sangialo Location. Nephew of late Sally, Wilson, Kennedy, Truphena, Reuben, Elijah and Jesang. Niece of Fr. William, Stella. Mike, Cosmas, Rose, Nobert and Kennedy. Cousin of Jelimo, Jepchirchir, Vincent, Victor, Kiptoo, Daisy, Brian, Naumi, Oprah, Kiprop, Blessings, Jepchumba, Jerop, Jemutai, Brigid, Bridget, Mitchele, Austin, Angello, Ryan, Ivan, Jeruto, Jabali, Ian and Audrey.

Shantel was baptized on 24th September 2016 by Fr. William Kosgei at her home in Hyrax Estate-Malel, Eldoret, under the Catholic doctrine.

Shantel left to be with the Lord on the evening of 26th August 2017, following an accident within their Hyrax Estate.

Funeral service will be held on Friday 1st September 2017 at Kaptel farm starting 10 am.

May our little Angel Rest in Eternal Peace. You will forever be in our hearts Shante.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Chairman of jokoluoch Clan, Mr. Ezakiel Omollo, jointly with Mama Grace’s family announce the passing  on of our beloved mother, sister and friend, Mama Grace Nyawade Nyamwaya which occurred on Thursday the 17th of August 20 I 7.

She was the daughter of the late Ong’ondo Okello and Catherine Okeche. Sister of the Late Okwang’, Okello, Ogwang’, Awino, Atieno, Adell and Ohulu. Mama Grace was wife of the late Silvanus Nyamwaya Anyumba and co-wife of the late Phylster, Ouko, Bilia, Yukabeth, Agneta, Awiti, Orondo and the late Achola. She was mother of Elisha, Ong’ondo, Anyumba Ogendo, Lucy, the Late Johnnie Otieno. Others are Abongo, Okal, Otete, Nola, Okal Malele Taabu, Adoyo, Aoko, Carren, Amollo among others. Mother-in-law of Maritha, Helena, Mary, Conslata, Joyce, Millicent Salim, Millicent Atieno, Monica Abongo, Alga Muga, Grace Okal, Carthy, Beatrice, Evaline Atieno and Sylvia. Aunt of Onamba, Onyiego, Jurna, Odongo, Phoebe, Nyalango, Dutia and Adhoch among others. Grandmother to 62 and great-grand mother to 22 She was sister-in-law of the late Anyumba, Oringa, Adede, Ochuka, Akomo and the late Salina Oruko.

The body is lying at the Lee Funeral Home. Special prayers will be held at the Funeral Home’s Chapel on Thursday 7th September, 2017 from 2pm. Mama Grace’s remains will be flown to Kisumu on Friday 8th September, 2017. The burial will be held on 9th September, 2017 at Hongo Ogosa Village, Kamayoga Sub-location, Katho Location, Nyando Sub-County of Kisumu County.

Family, relatives, friends and well wishers are meeting daily except Sundays at Railways Club from 4.30pm. A funds drive to offset funeral expenses is scheduled at the same venue on 5th September, 2017 beginning at 4.30pm. Contributions may also be sent to Paybill No. 247247, Account. No.  0240198726717.

The family of the late Lydia Nyambura Muthami wish to express our sincere gratitude and heart felt appreciations to family, relatives, friends and wellwishers who stood by us during this difficult time of short hospitalization, demise and funera. Your love, kindness, prayers, counsel, financial, material support, words of encouragement and the sacrifice of your time to be with us was truly overwhelming and humbling.

Special thanks go to Rev Miringu of PCEA Muthaiga Nyanuki for the requiem mass and PCEA Langata for hosting the funeral service, also the medical team of Nairobi Hospital Dr Edwin Otieno, Dr Muhinga and Dr Eliud Njuguna. For the care and professional service rendered and updates to the family and the funeral committees who sacrificed their many hours to record a successful send of.

Mother of the late Sammy Ndisya, Mutua Ndisya, Joseph Ndisya USA, Kimuyu Ndisya, Richard Ndisya Kitundu Chief, late Kavata Muli, Kavindu Mutunga and Henry Ndisya USA. Stepmother of late Owen Makuu, Silvanus Ndisya AG Office, Milcah Mbiti, Elvis Ndisya Kithingiisyo High School, Ndunge, Kamene, Nzyusyo among others. Sister of Mutie Makai, Joseph Makai, Ndulu Kimeu and Nzwili Makai. Mother-in-law of Florence King’oo, Beatrice Mutua,Agnes Mutune-USA,osephine Kimuyu. Joyce Nzou, Mull, late Mutunga and Beth Kavolum USA. Grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in KiimaVillage (Kitundu location-Mbooni West District) and Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria (Nairobi) at 5.30pm.There will be a fundraising on Friday 1st September 2017 at Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria(Nairobi). The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa uneral Home (Machakos) on Sunday 3rd September 2017 at 7.30am for funeral service at Kitundu Primary School grounds from 11.00am and thereafter burial at her home in Klima Village.

Loved ones never depart, they rest in God’s hands and live forever in our hearts.
