Brother of Purity Karambu,Asenath Nkatha, Pharis Mutuma and Nathan Muriuki. Brother-in-law of Kobia Mikwa, Michael Mwangi, Purity Mutuma and Hellen Muriuki. Uncle of Victor Kobia, Kingstone Kobia, Oliver Kobia, Newton Mwangi, Maurine Mwangi, Daniel Mwangi, Ian Mutuma, Charlene Muriuki and Charton Muriuki. He was a cousin of many.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Referal Hospital Mortuary on 3rd January 2018 at 5.00am to Meru Funeral Home and thereafter leave Meru Funeral Home on Thursday 4th January, 2018 at 9.00am for funeral service at his home Nchiru Tigania West, Meru County.

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Samson Kabugi Kariuki of Gitui Village, Kahuro Sub-County Murang’a County. Samson was enjoying his retirement at his home when he met his untimely death on the fateful night of 27th December 2017.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Wambui Kabugi of Gitui Primary School and four children- Caroline Njeri, Anne Njambi, Kennedy Kariuki and Simon Mbatia. Loving grandfather of Brian Kabugi and Dennis Kabugi. Son of the late George Kariuki and the late Jane Njeri. Son in law of the late Simon Peter Mbatia and Mary Njambi Mbatia of lhiga-ini, Kangema sub-county. Brother of the late Stanley Mwangi, late Benson Mbatia, the late Peter Irungu, late Jeremiah Munene and Stephen Muriro. Brother-in-law of Stanley Chege, Joycelyne Nyambura, Joseph Mbatia, the late Samuel Mwangi, Harrison Gachu, Benjamin Macharia, Lucy Wangechi, Charles Njoroge and Jane Wanjiru. Uncle and cousin of many.

The cortege leaves Murang’a County Mortuary on Friday, 5th January 2018 at 8.00am. The Funeral Service starts at 10.00am at his farm in Gitui Village.

Kiptoon, Ethan, Zawadi, Natasha, Talia, Beverly, Aiden, Joseph, among others. Sister to Wanjau, the late Mwangi, Kiama, Wachera, the late Wangeci, Wachira & Mumbi Gachunia. Auntie to Wambui, the late Ndirangu, Judy, Njoki, Nyambura among others.

Family and friends are meeting for daily prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Solian, Eldama Ravine.

The cortege will leave Valley Hospital, Nakuru on 6th January 2018 at 08:00am for the funeral service and burial at the family home – Solian.

Adoring father of Cynthia Kanana Mugambi and Keith Kathurima Mugambi. Brother of the late Catherine Kanario, Susan Nkatha, Joy Kanyua, Morris Mutuma and Mercy Mosoti. Brother-in-law of Gerald Miriti, Martin Kinoti, Jacob Munene, Dr. Hellen Mithega, the late Lydiah Mwendwa, Joshua Muriungi, Julius Mosoti, Martin Mithega and the late John Kyalo. Sister-in-law of the late Owiti Agot, the late Oluoch Agot, the late Jane Odhul, Dorothy Saiah, the late Pamela Wend, the late Akiny Agot and Elizabeth Awino. Mother-in-law of Charles, Barika Carole and Kimmi. Nyawana of the late Omuom; Ali, Michieka and the late Ayugi. Mary was also blessed with grandchildren in addition to several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at ACK St Paul’s Church South C opposite Moi Education Centre on Wednesday 3rd January 2018 at 2pm. A second service will be held at ACK St Luke’s Uloma- Bondo on Friday 5th January 2018 at 11 am.

Mary will be laid to rest on Saturday the 6th of January 2018 at the family farm in Bondo.

The cortege leaves Evans Hospital Mortuary, Nakuru for a requiem service at ACK Cathedral of Good Shepherd Nakuru, starting at 2:30pm on Wednesday 10th January 2017 and thereafter an overnight stay at her residence Kabachia, Nakuru.

Burial will be held on Friday 12th at Kitambo Village, Kisumu County.
