Dotting Father of Isabella & Joseph, Mathew & Salome, Sr. Nicoletta Marete, Veronica & Mwiti, Jackline & the late Mugo, the late Aurelia & Silas, the late Teresa Njeri, Phyllis & Mwai, Jayne & Marc, Eunice & David & Silas & Makena. Brother of the late Beatrice & Aron M’Inoti, John & Colleta Mworia, Agnes & the late Joseph Murithi, Magdarina & the late Simeon Mutua, Antoni & the late Augusta Mwebia, Mary & Gilbert. Family and friends are meeting in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral (2nd, 3rd & 4th January) and at his residence in Kairebi Village, Central lmenti, Meru County.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital- Nkubu on 6th January 2018 at 9.am for the funeral Mass at 11am at Kairebi Catholic Church and thereafter, burial at his home , Kairebi village.

Daughter of Mr. Wellington Oluoch Omoro and Asha Oluoch Omoro. Loving sister of Sophie and Edward Mwangi; Musa and Phiona Omoro; Richard and Ruth Omoro and George Omoro. Caring and loving auntie of Daniella and Asha Mwangi; Wellington Hawi Omoro and Mason Omoro.

Loving niece of the late Jeremiah Osewe Omoro and Alice, Meshack and Priscilla Anyango Omoro, the late Mary Abidha Aran, Mrs Peres Olale and late Macknon Okeno Olale, Jane and Walter Ombewa, the late Ake and Tom Mboga and Bether and Samauel Kokach; Abiba and the late Yusuf Oindo, Abdi Ogol Masoud, Ismael Abbott Masoud; Abdi Okoth Masoud, Baraka Onyango Masoudi and Asmin Mwaniga, the late Amani Masoud; late Zainabu Masoud; Ali Masoud; the late Sara Achieng Masoud and the late Juma Adhola among others.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday 4th January 2018 at All Saints Cathedral at 1.00 p.m.

Mariam will be laid to rest at her father’s home in Uyoma Katwenga on Saturday 6th January 2018.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Njuguna Mutonya that occurred on December 24th, 2017 after an illness bravely borne. In his illustrious career as a journalist, Njuguna once served as the Bureau Chief of Nation Media Group in Mombasa.

Son of the late Jeremiah Mutonya and Rebecca Njoki of Gatura, Murang’a County. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Mwangi Kanuna and and Millicent Awour. Husband of Susan Wanjiru of Technical University of Mombasa. Father of Juliet Njuguna, Barbara Njuguna and Sean Mutonya. Brother of George Njoroge (Nairobi), Dr. Mungai Mutonya (USA), Rose Thuku (Nairobi), Peter Mari (Taveta), Jane Mutonya (Nairobi), Kamau Mutonya (USA), James Mutonya (Nairobi), Dr Maina Mutonya (Mexico), Mwangi Mutonya (Nairobi), Susan Mutonya (Nairobi) and Sam Mutonya (Thika). Brother-in-law and uncle of many and grandfather of three.

Funeral service will be held at the Holy Ghost Cathedral Mombasa on Friday January 5th from 10.00am to be followed by burial at Mbaraki Cemetery on the same day.

There will be a main fundraising on January 3rd, 2018 at the Little Theatre Club of Mombasa from 4.30pm to offset hospital bills. Contributions can also be sent through Till No. 527006.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home at 9.00am on 4/1/2018 to proceed for church service at ACK Good Samaritan Church Difadhas, and there after she will be laid to rest at her home at gituto village.
