Loving husband of Mary Wangui Mwang.i Son of the late Githae Hoome and the late Mary Wambui Githae. Step son of Wangari Githae and late Wambui Githae. Brother of Lucy Wanjiru Muriuki, the late Judy Gathoni, Esther Wanjiku, Geoffrey Muriuki and Nancy Njeri. He was step brother of Ikamba,AgnesWanjiru, the late Wachira Mwangi, Ciru Mwangi, Kiriungi, Kamau and Kirienye. Loving Father of Edward Maina Mwangi {Kenya High Commission, Pretoria, S.A), George Kimani, the late Moses Njuguna, the late Geoffrey Richard Muriuki and Simon Kiriungi. Son-in-law of the late Moses Githaiga Kimani and late Eunice Wanjiru Githaiga. Father in-law of Lucy Muthoni, Sarah Kimani and Cynthia Wambui. Grand father of Arnold, Stacy, Mwangi, Joseph, Brian,Wangui, Sylivia and Maina. Uncle and friend to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement at his Home at Gitamaiyu, Mugumo Estate, Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday, 4th January 2018 at 9:30am. The church service starts at 12:00pm at Mugumo Holy Family Catholic Church and thereafter Burial ceremony at his home at Mugumo Estate.

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Kithome Tuta on Thursday 28th December, 2017 at Aga Khan Hospital. Until his demise, he was the Director of Legal Affairs, Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General.

Dearest father of Josemaria Tuta and Louis Mbondo. Son of the late Michael Tuta and Mrs Lucia Tuta. Brother of Muia, Thomas, Charles, the late Muthoka, Mbithe, Mbula, Muema and Mumbua.

Meetings will be held daily at his home in Muvuo village and in Buruburu phase 5, House No 449, Nairobi. Main funeral planning meetings will be held at 680 Hotel on 2nd and 3rd, January and a fundraiser on 4th January 2018 from 5pm.

Requiem mass will be held at St Paul’s Chapel, Nairobi, on 4th January 2018 from 12noon to 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi, at 8.00am on Saturday 6th January 2018 for burial mass at 11.00 am at Kiliku Primary School Grounds and later burial rites at his ancestral home, Muvuo village, Katune sub-location, Mulala Location in Makueni County.

He was the son of the late Dr. Jason Ndaka Kaviti and Mrs Sarah Wavinya Kaviti. Brother to Rosemary Mbinya Kaviti of Aga Khan Hospital Nbi and Dr. Lillian Katunge Kaviti of University of Nairobi. Uncle to Sheryl Wawira Gachuba and Rita Wavinya among others. Nephew to the late Mueni Suti, the late Senior Chief Edward Muthami, late Mutiso, late Jones Mutungi, Ndinda and Andrew Mutiso. He was also nephew to John Kilonzo Mweu, Smith Mackenzie Mweu, Mrs Esther Keli, Mrs Susan Mbathi, Sammy Mweu, Mary Mweu, Margaret Nthiga, late Elizabeth Mweu, Brig. (Rtd.) Joseph BM Mweu and Henry Mweu. Cousin to Johnson Kithuku, Gabriel Ndaka Mutungi, Edward Wambua, Celestine Mbuvi Suti, Wambua Kilonzo, Ndonye Mackenzie, Tony Keli, Kambua Okora, Liz Nthiga Geller among others.

Daily meetings will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, from today 2/01/2018 from 5:30 p.m., with a harambee on Thursday 4/01/2018, from 5:30 p.m. to help offset funeral expenses.

There will be a funeral service at the same venue on Friday 5/01/2018 from 11:00 a.m.

The body leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Saturday 6/01/2018 at 6:00 a.m. for burial at his fathers’ farm in Kisau Location, Mangani Sub-Location, Ndumbi Village in Makueni County. Saturday service begins at 11:00 a.m.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary on 05/01/2018 for funeral service at Kunste Gardens Nakuru, followed by body interment in his farm Dundori gwa Kiongo in Nyandarua County.

Brother of the late Joshua Mbugua, the late John Mwaura, Stephen Ngure, Moses Waweru, the late Esther Wanjiru, Joyce Mwereini, the late Keziah Njoki, Joshua Njuguna and Samuel Njuguna Ng’ang’a.

Beloved father of Naphtali Muiruri, the late John Irungu, John Mbugua (Engare), Hannah Wanjiku, Joshua Kimani, Samuel Mwaura, Rachael Njeri (USA), Naomi Wanjiru, Sarah Njeri, Elisha Ngure, Hosea Njuguna, Tabitha Mwereini (USA), Nehemiah Njuguna, Naphtali Muiruri, Stephen Chege, Reuben Mbugua and Ayub Njoroge. Loving Grandfather of 30 grandchildren and a great grandfather of 4.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Ngarariga from 4 pm. He will be laid to rest at his home in Ngarariga on the 2nd of January 2018.

The burial service which will commence at 10:00am, will be presided by the Holy Ghost Church of East Africa (Akurino) at his home.

She was sister to Beatrice, Kellen, Ndwiga, Philip, Henry, Nthiga and Njue, late Egra, Mukami, John, Geoffrey, Njagi, Moses and Albert. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Kianjokoma Kithangari village for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home tomorrow, 2nd January 2018 at 9,00 am, funeral service will be held at A.C.K Kianjokoma Trinity Church starting at 10.00am followed by burial at her Kithangari home, Embu North Sub County, Embu County.
