1st Anniversary

Baba, it’s a year today since a heart of gold stopped beating. Your love, support and care for us, and countless others, was unparalleled, unconditional, unfailing and guaranteed. Though a man of many remarkable accomplishments who scaled the very epitome of scholarly pursuits and one who held his faith and walk with Christ at a top premium, we, with the benefit of hindsight, are astounded at how you didn’t dictate to us how to live. Rather, you lived exemplarily and let us watch you do it.

Baba, you were God’s very best, and remain the hero of our lives and of countless generations to come. Even with the enormity of your physical departure, the memory of you is constant, a blessing we treasure and a source of invaluable strength and direction. We miss you indescribably, Baba, and always will. Keep resting in our heavenly Father’s arms till we meet again.

Sorely missed by your dear wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, the extended family, brethren in Christ, friends, colleagues, students, mentees and countless others whose lives you touched.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
