In Loving Memory

February 2015

They have achieved success who have lived well, laughed often and loved much; who have enjoyed the trust of pure men and women and the love of little children; who have filled the niche and accomplished their task; who have left the world better than they found it, and others to breathe easier because they lived; who always looked for the best in others and given the best they had. Whose lives were an inspiration; Whose memory a benediction.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever

In Loving Memory / 1st Anniversary

On that Valentine’s Day morning, your death felt like a stinging defeat in our hearts. And over the course of the past year, our eyes have been left reddened. Tears have flown freely in joyous remembrance of the times we spent with you, while at the same time in sad despair that you are no longer there.

Emptiness fills our hearts when we glance upon that vacant seat at the table; that empty presence at the feast. Our thoughts shattering when we remember we can no longer visit you; we can no longer hear your voice. We remember your glowing smile. We remember your wise words.

We remember your kindness. We are comforted by the love of God as we remember Jesus conquered death and we shall eventually be together. Fondly remembered by your Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and Family.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them. Rev 14:13

8th Anniversary

It has been 8 years since you passed away but you are near even if we don’t see you. You are with us even if you are away. You are in our hearts, in our thoughts, in our lives always…. We just love and miss you in our own ways but above all we are thankful to God for the years he gave you to us.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. You are missed by your Husband, Children, Grandchildren and all those you touched. For now, hope is the only thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.

Continue resting in peace
