15th Anniversary / In Loving Memory

Mami, on that normal sunny Wednesday afternoon at 3.30 pm, a gloomy and sombre mood descended and engulfed the Njuguna’s, you breathed your last and left us. It is fifteen years today since that fateful day. We all knew it would come but we dreaded it. Since then. It has never been the same again. It has been painful, horror, empty, agonising and extremely lonely to all of us as we remember and relate the fond memories of your life with us and adjust to the cruel and stark reality that you are no longer with us. The only consolation which has kept us going is that we are sure you are in safe hands of our Lord in heaven and one day we shall reunite again. We continue to thank the Almighty God for the precious time we shared and spent together in this world and shall forever have those fond memories.

Mami, our eyes swell in tears as memories of your face shine upon us every day of our lives, your words of wisdom, your prayer to us on daily basis as a family and your Christian Virtues you so much adhered to and inculcated into us till your very last moments on earth continues to reverberate in our ears as if said or heard a second ago. No one can fill the gap that you left in our lives.

Mami, you are fondly remembered and dearly missed by your children, Esther Kiriga, Steven Njuguna, Linda Kinyua, Ann Kinyua, Linda Hartman and Paul Njuguna, your grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Jesus said,”I am the resurrection and life, He who believes in me will live even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” John 11:25

There’s not a day that goes by without us thinking of you. Memories are what we have left holding on to. Your spirit and timeless philosophy on life will always be our guiding light. Dearly loved and missed by your family, colleagues, mentees and friends.

1st Anniversary / In Loving Memory of Our Mother

It has been a year since you passed away but you are near even if we don’t see you.You are with us even if you are far away. You are in our hearts, in our thoughts, in our lives always…..We just love you and miss you in our own way but above all we are thankful to God for the years he gave you to us.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

We hold you in our hearts until we can hold you again in heaven. Your children, grandchildren, great grand children, your siblings and all those you touched and continue to touch their lives. For now hope is the only thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.

We have no doubt you are in that heavenly paradise that guarantees eternal happiness.

Though we miss you and your great attributes of love, humility, kindness and generosity, we have trudged on with life because of God’s mercy and Grace.

May the Almighty God continue resting your soul in everlasting peace. Amen

1st Anniversary

There is no roadmap to grieve the loss of a loved one and the last year was the most difficult of our lives.

We would like to appreciate all our friends & family who have stood by us and supported us since Dad went to be with the Lord.

Your kindness and concern have been of great comfort to all of us during our moments of sadness. May God bless you and continue to shine his light upon you.
