Your support expressed in so many forms had profound significance to our grief. The warmth and ‘comfort gave us reason to hope and deepened our faith and conviction about the immortality of our beloved. We are incapable of fully communicating our feelings; just know that you have made tremendous impact to our lives.  We saw God in you. May He come to your aid when you call  Him. We remain forever grateful.

It seems just like yesterday, and yet a year has elapsed since you suddenly left us on 18th June, 2018. Not a day goes by without us thinking about you. Your priceless memory is our keepsake with which we will never part God has you in his keeping and we have you in the heart. We miss your wonderful presence. We see you everywhere and in everything we do. We miss your generous laughter, intellect and interesting life stories. And we know that our loving sister Debbie, is joyfully with you. We thank the Almighty God for having given us such an inspiring, loving and happy husband and dad. Till we all meet again on that glorious day.

We, Mwawudas family wish to convey our sincere appreciation to all those who gave us immense support as we grieved our beloved Wilfred Mrongo Mwawuda who went to be with the Lord on 5th May 2019 and laid to rest on 10th May 2019 at Macha, Taita.

In Particular we wish to thank the staff and nurses, at KNH private ward, Nairobi Hospital St Josephs Voi, who cared forWilly during his one year illness. Special gratitude to Prof Elly Ogutu, Dr Enock Kebwaro, Dr Kisyoki, Dr Hanif and nurses. Thanks to the Nairobi Funeral Commitee led by Bishop Chola (Nairobi), Duncan Chola, Vol Catholic Church, st Josephs shelter of Hope, ACK St. Johns Voi and ACK St. Stephens Mole. Special Gratitude to Rt. Rev. Dr. Samson Mwaluda, Rev Odongo, Rev. Mwakesi, Rev Eunice, Rev Kiluda, Rev Mwanjulu and Rev Jackline Mwamburi and all who ably presided over the service to lay Willy to rest.

Thanks to the Taita Community led by Voi MR Hon. Mlolwa, Hon. Mwandegu, The Voi Red Cross, Sere Village Committee, Mole/Wongonyi Communities Thank for your immense support. Last but not least, we thank all friends and relatives for their tremendous presence and assistance during Willy’s illness.

The children of Phoebe Ngaluya Kisilu and the entire Mang’eli family wish to convey our deepest and heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us in one way or another to give our beloved mwaitu a befitting send off.Your prayers, visits, moral, financial and material support made the burden lighter and bearable to the family.

We would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors who treated mwaitu and made her comfortable for the entire period of her sickness led by Prof. Joshua Kayima, Dr. Angela Waweru and Dr. Andrew Odhiambo, the staff of Postal Corporation of Kenya and Insurance Regulatory Authority, UoN ’85 class, the Nairobi Organizing committee for the excellent planning, Kangondi Mathina-Ma-Matithini Welfare Association for-their support at home. The Citam Valley Road Church, the Welcome Ministry and the bible study groups for standing with the family throughout mwaitu’s sickness and the spiritual support.

Rev. Joshua Mativo together with the Kangondi AIC clergy who led the funeral service at home, our many friends, relatives, extended families, neighbors both in Nairobi and Kangondi who created time to be with the family as we gave mwaitu a befitting send-off on 4th May 2019.

It is not possible to mention each and every one by name, may the lord bless you all in a very special way.
