We the family of the late Deacon Mzee Hezekiah Kanyugi Muturi (HSC), are grateful to God who has been faithful to us. Through the darkest hour, we have seen the faithfulness of God and it has comforted us.

We wish to express our deep appreciation for the prayers, words of comfort, love, physical presence, financial and emotional support we received from immediate and extended family members, relatives, friends, church, our leaders and well-wishers.

We wish to thank the entire clergy of ACC & S led by Moderator Jeremiah Ngumo Kiguru for the service and support to the family. In particular ACC & S Kangari and Mwarano fraternity, Parklands Baptist Church and Karen Community Church, both Nairobi and Kangari organizing committees who gave time and resources to make the occasion the success it turned out to be.

We sincerely thank the management and board of Akuria Investment Plc., management and board of Muungano Microfinance plc. (In formation), and the Trustees of Kanyugi Education Foundation.

A thank you is never enough and for this reason we may not be able to mention each of you by name but your support during our moment of need was felt and highly appreciated. May God bless you.

We the family of the late Anderson Njiru Kugariura wishes to express our sincere heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and support extended to us following the demise of our dear Dad.

We thank the Almighty God for His Strength and comfort during this trying time. Special thanks to Tend Hospital fraternity who fought tirelessly to help Dad during his stay in hospital. Surmountable appreciation to the body of Christ represented by ACK St Lukes Church Kirima, ACK St Martin’s Church Kahawa, ACK St Stephens Church Ruiru and Deliverance Church Embakasi.

Special thanks to PGH Hospital staff, Kenya Defense Forces Fraternity, National Government, former MOYAS Staff, Ministry of Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs staff, Brooke East Africa fraternity and all friends in Nairobi.

We sincerely thank the funeral committees in Embu and at Gicharu Village, family members, neighbours and all well-wishers who stood with us through their prayers, visits, spiritual, moral, material and financial support. You all made the journey bearable and we will forever be grateful to you.

We, the family of the late Professor Agnes Mary Wangari Gathumbi of Kenyatta University, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support extended to us during this time of our great loss.

Special thanks go to St. Gabriel Catholic Church,Thome led by Fr. Jude Waweru and assisted by Fr. Boniface Kariuki (Chaplain, Kenyatta University), Fr. Paul Ndung’u (Nyahururu Diocese), Fr. Dennis Muriithi (Kiangunyi Parish), Fr. Bernard Njoroge (Nyeri Diocese) and Catechist Dominic Kariuki. In addition, our thanks go to St. Gabriel Catholic Church administration led by Mr. Gabriel Gatoi (Moderator), Jumuias of St. Anthony and St. Francis Moderators, Mr. Peter Wairegi, Mrs.Veronica Ongeri and Mrs. Anne Waireri, the Catholic Women’s Associations of St Gabriel, Queen of Apostles, Our Lady Queen of Peace South B and in addition, the St. Gabriel & St. Peter Clavers Church Choirs and all the parishioners and members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church Community. Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Elder J. S. Muriu, the entire Githumu Community, our family members, friends and well-wishers who visited the home, attended meetings, sent tributes, prayed and attended the Requiem Mass standing shoulder to shoulder with us. Thanks to all who telephoned, travelled long distances to condole with us, provided generous financial support, and worked closely to give our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin, colleague and friend, the great send-off that she so deserved. We are most grateful.

We would like to give a special thank you to MP Shah hospital where she worked as a nurse till her death for their overwhelming love, care and support, Nairobi hospital where she formerly trained and worked, Kenyatta hospital, doctors and nurses who tried to save her life.

We appreciate the support we received from colleagues, friends, schoolmates Njumbi year 2000 Alumni, Cecily Mcdonel school of nursing SEPO4, the clergy from various churches who walked with her, ACK St. Paul Mihuti Church, funeral organising committee and many others not mentioned.
