APPRECIATION
1931-2019
Pefa Church Kenya and Bishop Mwatha’s family wish to convey our deepest and heart felt appreciation to all who stood with us, as we laid our Beloved Bishop to rest. The journey towards his send-off would not have been as seamless and befitting as it was without all your emotional, physical and financial support. We are grateful to the Almighty God for the years He gave us with him and the immense impact that he made in our lives and the body of Christ at large.
We also take this opportunity to thank Dr. Kelvin who was his doctor together with John, Dan and Macharia who were his nurses since he fell sick, for the great care they gave him. We extend our sincere heartfelt gratitude to our Deputy President His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, former Vice President Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for condoling with us and acknowledging Bishop Mwatha’s contribution to the work of God in Kenya and beyond. Our heartfelt thanks also go to his Excellency Governor of Kiambu County Hon. Ferdinand Waititu, The County Government of Murang’a and Senator Hon. Irungu Kang’ata , Murang’a Women Representative Hon. Sabina Chege, Members of Parliament, Members of County Assemblies and all other dignitaries and mourners from Nairobi, Murang’a and other parts of the Country who took time to condole and pray with us and also played different roles to ensure that Bishop Mwatha got a befitting send-off.
We are extremely grateful to the Steering Committee, Relatives, Friends and all the Pastors from Pefa Churches for the co-ordination and commitment to ensure that our Bishop got a befitting send-off. Finally not forgetting our fellow Pefa Churches from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zanzibar, D.R. Congo, Local Missionaries and Elim America.
We recognize and pay tribute to the Pefa ChurCh Kenya, led by the Presiding Bishop Dr. Mophat Kilioba together with other Bishops for their advice and assistance.
We are overwhelmed and humbled by your love, kindness and support during this difficult period of grieving which has served as a great source of encouragement to us. Kindly accept our sincere gratitude. God bless you all.
“Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Cor 5:8)
