We the family of the late Annlizer Njoki Njuguna wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who offered their love and support during the time of illness and bereavement.

We would like to give a special thank you to MP Shah hospital where she worked as a nurse till her death for their overwhelming love, care and support, Nairobi hospital where she formerly trained and worked, Kenyatta hospital, doctors and nurses who tried to save her life.

We appreciate the support we received from colleagues, friends, schoolmates Njumbi year 2000 Alumni, Cecily Mcdonel school of nursing SEPO4, the clergy from various churches who walked with her, ACK St. Paul Mihuti Church, funeral organising committee and many others not mentioned. We are eternally grateful.

Annlizer was truly loved by friends and family and will be dearly missed.

We wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the Doctors, Nurses and all other medical personnel who attended to Mum during her illness, the funeral committees in Nairobi and Ogango, Tente Conference & Rianyamaronge Memorial SDA Church membership, church leaders and choirs from various churches, The Governor and Nyamira County Government, relatives, friends and well-wishers who grieved, consoled and gave us overwhelming spiritual, moral and material support during the burial arrangements for Mum. A Tribute of Immense Appreciation

The Family of the late Mary Muthoni Munyi, wife to Wilson Munyi, wish to express our immense gratitude and appreciation for the overwhelming support, prayers and messages of comfort during the hospitalization and eventual demise of our beloved Mom. We extend our enormous thanks and heartfelt acknowledgement to both the late Brig. Jonah Munyi’s and the late Cucu Loise Wangechi’s Families; Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Colleagues and innumerable Well – wishers who visited and condoled with us in. Embu and Nairobi.

The Embu and Nairobi Planning Committees were meticulous and deeply committed, and we shall remain indebted to them for the successful Funds Drive held on 9th February, 2019 and the well co-ordinated Funeral Arrangements that culminated in the dignified send – off of our Mom. The Kantai Family and Mrs Eunice Naeku Kantai-Mariga take this opportunity to convey our deepest gratitude to our friends and colleagues who supported us during Chris Kantai’s long illness and in the days and weeks following his passing.

We acknowledge the efforts of the staff at St Francis Hospital, Kasarani where Chris had his last hospitalisation. In Nairobi and Ngong, we are also deeply indebted to the outpouring of support from friends who joined us on the funeral committees to give Chris a moving send-off. We are especially grateful to Pastor Joseph Katampoi, Mr and Mrs Sindiyo, Mr and Mrs Tetu, Mrs Joyce Nairi, Pastor Felix Weru, Baba Kevin, Purity Kimondo, and Kevin Kimondo. We would like to thank especially the Hiphop community for the outpouring of support and love. Particular thanks is made to Buddha Blaze, whose tireless efforts to mobilise the artistes and made the Tribute Concert on Friday, March 15 such a success. Additional thanks go to MC Sharon Alai, Juliani and the entire Community for their time, love and respect for one of their own.

In Seattle, USA, we appreciate Rev. David Mariga, Pastor Gitau, Mr and Mrs Njenga, chairman of the Northwest Committee, Mr Kimani; Pastor Sam Mariga of the Anglican Church of Seattle and Fireflow International Church, and the Seattle family.

Our son, brother, father, uncle, friend and colleague will never be forgotten. He rests in peace.

Pefa Church Kenya and Bishop Mwatha’s family wish to convey our deepest and heart felt appreciation to all who stood with us, as we laid our Beloved Bishop to rest. The journey towards his send-off would not have been as seamless and befitting as it was without all your emotional, physical and financial support. We are grateful to the Almighty God for the years He gave us with him and the immense impact that he made in our lives and the body of Christ at large.

We also take this opportunity to thank Dr. Kelvin who was his doctor together with John, Dan and Macharia who were his nurses since he fell sick, for the great care they gave him. We extend our sincere heartfelt gratitude to our Deputy President His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, former Vice President Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for condoling with us and acknowledging Bishop Mwatha’s contribution to the work of God in Kenya and beyond. Our heartfelt thanks also go to his Excellency Governor of Kiambu County Hon. Ferdinand Waititu, The County Government of Murang’a and Senator Hon. Irungu Kang’ata , Murang’a Women Representative Hon. Sabina Chege, Members of Parliament, Members of County Assemblies and all other dignitaries and mourners from Nairobi, Murang’a and other parts of the Country who took time to condole and pray with us and also played different roles to ensure that Bishop Mwatha got a befitting send-off.

We are extremely grateful to the Steering Committee, Relatives, Friends and all the Pastors from Pefa Churches for the co-ordination and commitment to ensure that our Bishop got a befitting send-off. We recognize and pay tribute to the Pefa ChurCh Kenya, led by the Presiding Bishop Dr. Mophat Kilioba together with other Bishops for their advice and assistance.

Dad we miss you as much today as we did on that fateful day when you were taken away into Gods bosom.

Remembered with so much love, sweet and sad memories, smiles and sometimes tears, by your wife Norah Owino, children Maisy, Marjorie, Edwin and Luciana, your mother, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. We thank all those who in one way or another supported us in prayers, monetary and emotionally during the illness, funeral and burial arrangements of our dear Dad. In particular we wish to thank the Our Lady of Health Catholic church in New Delhi, India, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kileleshwa, Nairobi County and Our Lady Queen of Peace, Muhoroni, Kisumu County for walking with us during those difficult times. We also thank the burial committees in Nairobi and Muhoroni for their massive support and coordination.

We thank the priests for offering the appropriate sacraments and His grace (Emeritus) Arch. Bishop Zacchaeus Okoth for giving Dad a dignified burial. We thank the Kenyan Embassy in India for giving us all the support we needed throughout the treatment period Dad was in India and ensuring that his remains were brought home as soon as possible.

Memorial Mass will be offered on 23rd march 2019 starting at 11.00am at his home in Mutwala Village, Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County.

Although physically gone, you are always a thought away from us.
