Appreciation

The Family of the Late Nathan Obwana would like to convey our deepest gratitude to all those who stood with us following the passing on of our beloved husband, father and friend. Your prayers, emotional, physical and financial support gave us the strength to endure the loss.

We would like to thank God Almighty for the blessing of many years of joy and accomplishment that we had with him.

Thanksgiving service will be held this Saturday 13th April at his home in Kabkara, Bungoma County.

The family of the late Steve O. Odhiambo (Sande) wishes to convey our deepest and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support, prayers and messages of comfort during the hospitalization and subsequent demise of our beloved brother, loving husband, father, a trusted friend, dependable colleague and a mentor to many. The journey towards his sendoff would not have been seamless and befitting as it was without your emotional, physical and financial support. We are grateful to the Almighty Father for the years He gave us Steve and the immense impact he made in our lives and many others.

Our special appreciation goes to Fr. Abel, Fr. Kulwa, Fr. Nduati and Fr. Swai all Salesians of Don Bosco, Fr. Joseph (Augustinian), Fr. Raphael (Camillian), Fr Andrew (Comboni) and Fr. Lawrence (Uwai parish). Your prayers and support truly confirmed Steve’s contribution to the church as a humble and dedicated servant. We were humbled and touched by the support from Catholic Men Association, Man Enough Programme, Sadaka Team, Medical Camp Team and BI. Maria Romero Small Christian Community from the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Upper hill; we appreciate your kindness, generosity, consolation and prayers during this trying moment.

We will forever be grateful to the funeral committee led by Alfred, the Vihiga 1998 alumni, Kampala International University 2004 Alumni, Steve’s special friends, neighbours at Muthama Heights, Verona Huruma Sacco, Kenya Paraplegic Organization, St. Joseph’s Uwai sons and daughters, Industrial Area friends, Supremacy group, syokimau Wagon group and Kanyaudo Community; thanks for your diligence and commitment in ensuring Steve got a decent send off.

Since we cannot mention each one of you individually, kindly know that your prayers, consolation and support during this time meant a lot to our family. We could not have done it without you.

We the family of the late Micheal Kulundu Okumba wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support received from our relatives, friends, neighbours and well wishers during our bereavement. We are grateful to God who has been faithful through our darkest days.

Our sincere thanks to the Khabukoshe Primary School, Andanjes, Nandwas, Okumbas, Mayabi families, aunty Asia, Butere family, Abatayi clan, Bakaribo clan, Dr. Wanjala family, Kesha Kakamega, Kesha Bungoma, Bible believers church Bungoma, Ngara and Ruai, Bungoma teachers welfare, Lugari principals, friends Mugunga, friends Kuywa, Maranda boys, Nzoia Sugar as a whole, Nzoia friends.

Much gratitude to brother in-law David, Eng Mumias, Edward, Excellencies Kakamega and Bungoma County Governors and all other officials for gracing the day. Special thanks to our very own MCA and brother Edwin Nandwa, Geoffrey, Nicky, Moses etc., lovely sisters Catherine, Susan, Ruth, Sarah, Lucy, Victoria, Carolyn, Connie, etc., cousins Annah, Moses, Eunice, Truphosa, Andere, Francis, Wycliffe etc. Our inlaws from Mumias and Butere, friends Nairobi, Bungorna and Mumias not forgetting NGCI Church Kitengeta for standing with us.

We realize we cannot reach out to all of you as individuals or groups but we are grateful and humbled for whichever support you offered that walked us through this trying moment, kindly accept our appreciation of thank you as we embark on the healing tourney.

Micheal was truly loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.

We, the family of the late David Charles Kariuki (DC) wish to convey our deepest and heartfelt gratitude to all those that consoled and gave us overwhelming spiritual, emotional and material support following the passing of our dear Dad DC.

We are grateful to the Almighty God for the years he gave us dad.

Our special appreciation goes to the burial committees both in Nairobi & Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai led by chairmen Mr. Edward Muriu & Patrick Njihia respectively. We also extend our thanks to the P.C.E.A Eserian Parish clergy led by Rev. Michael Muriungi, P.C.E.A Nkoroi Church, PCEA ILmerijo Church, Wonderful Nkoroi neighbors, Relatives and Friends.

Our appreciation also goes to Dr Ngigi of Nairobi hospital, Dr Mucheru & the staff of MP Shah where dad rested.

We the family of Loise Murugi Mbire who passed on, on 9th March 2019 wish to thank God for giving us strength, peace, comfort and favour throughout the period of celebrating the life of our beloved Mum, Auntie, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother.

We wish to express our most sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for the Love, Financial, Emotional and Spiritual support accorded to the family during this trying time. Special thanks to Ass. Bishop Charles Muturi, ACK St Johns Kangemi led by Rev.
