As family of the late Engineer Peter Kimori Maranga, we are sincerely grateful to the Almighty God for seeing us through the whole mourning period. Following the death of James Mwangi Bernard Karani which occurred on 27th August 2021, we, the Mwangi family, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all our dear friends and family for their unreserved support spiritually, financially and otherwise, and for the kindness and love displayed during the planning and eventual burial of Mzee James Mwangi.

We greatly and heartily appreciate, in a very special way, the doctors at Multicare Hospitals, Washington, in the United States of America, the Karen Hospital, and Kenyatta National Referral Hospital in Nairobi, for their great effort and a show of professionalism in the care they accorded James Mwangi while undergoing treatment. In particular, we wish to convey our special gratitude to Dr. Kamuri, CEO, Kenyatta National and Referral Hospital, for the great assistance he accorded the family at their hour of need.

Additionally, we acknowledge and appreciate the All Saints Goshen and St. Albans Anglican Churches in Washington, USA, the Vicar and his team at ACK St. Matthews Church, Hardy in Karen, the Nairobi Chapel in Lavin on, as well as the ACK Mairungi Church in Kariti, Murang’a County, for their support and prayers for the family.

First and foremost we would like to thank the Almighty God for the years He gave us with Christopher Kariuki Kamuyu and for the blessed and happy life that he lived.

The family of the late Hon. Christopher Kariuki Kamuyu would like to thank most sincerely all those who stood & keep standing with us following the demise of my husband, our Dad, Grandfather, his brother and sisters who travelled from USA.

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation goes to all relatives, friends, age group colleagues and classmates from St Joseph’s High School Githunguri. We thank all those who sent messages of condolences, prayers and support during this difficult road.

We are deeply grateful to the team of doctors, nurses and staff at the Nairobi Hospital who attended to him, the team at the Lee Funeral Home and the security law enforcement from the government sector. We the family of the late Mwalimu Jeremiah P. Kahora give thanks to God for his grace which enabled us to lay our dear dad to rest on 17th July 2021.

We thank the Almighty God for giving Dad to us for 88 years. It was through God’s grace that we were his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our dear friends and families for their support, love and prayers during the difficult time of bereavement.
