James Mwololo Mbwika

Appreciation

We the family of the late James Mwololo Mbwika take this opportunity to say thank you. First and foremost, to God for his grace that has continued to abound since we laid our beloved James to rest. But God raised a fortress of support and comfort through men and women whom we are forever indebted. This note of appreciation, though captured from a wellspring of deep appreciation, may fail to fully express our heartfelt gratitude to all since everyone’s prayers, presence, support and messages of comfort counted immeasurably.

We are thankful for the church of our lord Jesus Christ represented by CITAM Karen and AIC Ngomano.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the funeral planning committees in Nairobi and Kambu who despite the challenges of Covid- 19 regarding physical meetings, managed to coordinate, mobilize and took care of things with zeal, passion, and relentless focus to give our beloved a befitting send-off. We are also grateful to the local administration for being there for us.

In a foreign land (Kano, Nigeria), with no family member on sight and none able to travel, God raised angels in men and women who went out of their way to ensure the late James was attended during his brief illness and also tirelessly and against all odds facilitated in the repatriation of the body to Nairobi. In this regard, special thanks to HE Ambassador (Dr.) Wilfred Machage and the staff at the Kenya High Commission in Abuja, Mr Adams Ongurinde of ACDI VOCA Nigeria, Dr. Patrick Nguku, Dr. Shehu, Dr. Kimani and the Kenyan Community in Nigeria. Thank you for even taking time to engage the family at a personal level via telephone calls, zoom meetings to update, encourage and pray with us.

Special thanks to professional and business associates/colleagues that include ACDI VOCA, the leadership and staff of the County Government of Makueni, Ngulai Investment Group, KISWA, the National Treasury and Planning, the Board of SASRA, New Focus Rongai, Makueni County Aka Coop Society and the Kangaru 84:85 group among many others.

It’s not possible to mention each one of them here due to constraints of space but please accept our sincere gratitude for your overwhelming support.

To our close friends and relatives, we do not have adequate words to tell you how far your continued presence, prayers, kindness and compassion has brought us. We thank God for the family warmth and heartfelt support.

We cannot forget to thank Lee Funeral Home for the excellent logistical services and the caring help during a very difficult time.

For each and every one of you who was there and did their best to support and comfort, may Psalms 20:1-5 eternally speak over you and your loved ones. Amen.
