Your messages of condolences through phone calls, texts via MS, social media platforms, visitations, prayers, coupled with our generous material and financial support, went a long way ensuring that we accorded our father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle, mentor and friend a befitting final farewell, notwithstanding the eating restrictions prompted by the current health crisis.

It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Salome Waigwe Ndungu which occurred on Sunday 2nd May 2021 after a long illness bravely borne.

She was daughter to the late Mr & Mrs Eliud Maina Buba of Koimbe Village, Murang’a. Loving wife to Sammy Ndungu. Beloved mother to Anthony Mwangi (MKU) and Esther Mwangi, Beth & Vincent (France), Nancy Ndungu (NACADA).

Doting grandmother to Brandon, Macreagan, Donnell, Benjamin, Pendo, Adele, and Maina. Sister to Mercy & Joseph Mbugua, John & Esther Buba, Lucy & Isaiah Mwangi, Grace Murugi, Elizabeth & Morris Wagacha, Beth, Catherine, Isaac & Mary Gathanu and Polly. Auntie to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma, Monalissa Funeral Home Kabati on Friday 7th May 2021 at 8am for a funeral service at ACK St Stephen’s Church, Ngimu and thereafter burial at their home in Kenol. Both the funeral service and burial will be on live stream and will be held in line with Covid 19 prevention guidelines.

Salome you showed us the way, you fought a good fight, you finished the race, be crowned in the coming of Christ. Koma thayu.
