We, the family of the late Mrs. Catherine Wairimu Muriuki, thank God for the gift of her life as Wife, Mother, Sister,Aunt, Cousin, Grandmother, and Friend.

We express our gratitude and appreciation to all our relatives, friends, colleagues, neighbours and well-wishers for your overwhelming financial support, prayers, calls, and visits during the period of sickness and bereavement.

As a family, we honour Senior Elder Ephraim Muriuki Guandaru for the love, support, and unwavering commitment they shared in their marriage.

We also deeply appreciate Paul for his dedication in taking great care of Mr & Mrs Muriuki.

A special appreciation to the medics at Outspan Hospital, Nyeri; and to Dr. Muraguri of Kerugoya, Dr Ngari, Dr. Maina, Dr. Ndiritu and Dr. Wanderi.

We, Dr. (Plan.) Bernadette, Kui, Henri and Jonathan, would like to thank the Almighty God for the blessing that was Henry’s life, his many achievements and the gift of numerous genuine friends placed by God along Henry’s earthly sojourn.

We thank God profoundly, for the stream of prayers that ascended to Heaven on Henry’s behalf from many countries during his brief sickness and after his home departure.

The friends of God who facilitated his divine healing for his homecoming are many. We thank you all and beg God’s plenteous blessings upon you.

To our extended family and many friends, who assisted in his burial preparations with generous fiscal contributions and time, kindly accept our heartfelt gratitude, feel truly appreciated and individually thanked.

In a special way, we wish to thank the Catholic Diocese of Murang’a, the Clergy, CMA and Parishioners of Mukinduri Catholic Church, Mukinduri Primary School, the proprietors of Westgate Shopping Mall Nairobi, the Ex-HFCK Staff Group, ACORN Group and KIE.

We further thank the Doctors and Staff at Mater Hospital, Nairobi, who attended to Henry, the Priests who so ably prepared him for his final journey in accordance with his faith and the honourable API Insurance. The latter lightened our burden in his hospital stay and afterwards.

You surely ought to be the insurance of choice to many Kenyans.

Finally, our beloved Henry, we thank you for your love, tender loving care and the cherished memories that you leave us with. Your great legacy goes on. Rest in God’s peace our much-loved Henry till we meet again.

With profound gratitude, we thank you all for your support during the funeral preparations and service of our beloved the late Machora H.O. Mogare who passed away on 12.11.2020. He was a Senior Land Registrar, Siaya County.

First, to the CS, Ministry of Lands & Physical Planning- Hon. Farida Karoney; the PS,Dr. Nicholas Muraguri; Chief Land Registrar-Mr. Nyandoro David, the HR Director Ms. Anne Kiraithi, Land Registrar Kisii Mr. Mokaya to name but a few. Special thanks to the entire Siaya County Land Office staff, led by Surveyor Solomon Odundo, for helping us throughout the entire process and for timely and critical support, we are beholden. We thank other Public Officers from the Ministry of Education; Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government; EACC, among others.

Tribute to Hon. Ben Mogaka for his support and Lydia Ntabo, who took care of her late Dad. To Getutus’; Mwa’Mogares’; many loving in-laws and other relatives, your dedication, understanding, and time all mean so much to us and we feel very lucky to have you walk alongside us during these most trying times. We cannot thank you enough for spending so much time with us and giving us every kind of invaluable support. We cherish you all forever.

To Pastor Morara, Pastor Mencheri among others; the event MCs Sokoro Nyabio and Nyabuto; to various pastors, churches and choirs, your participation and service before and during the burial was such a blessing, thank you. To various funeral Committees, Nyanchenge Bodaboda and Nyati associations, abanto be’kenyoro mwensi we appreciate your time and sacrifice, without your contributions and services, we would have come unstuck. To the various WhatsApp groups participants and those in Diaspora thank you all for your kind words messages, prayers and financial support.
