We, the family of the late David Nderu, would to thank the Almighty God for the gift of his life and the time we shared with our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, colleague and friend.

Our sincere and heartfelt gratitude goes to our extended family, friends and colleagues who took the time to condole with us through prayer, visits and financial generosity during the funeral arrangements and burial.

We would also like to thank the management and staff of Auto Ancillaries Limited and Sarova Hotels, who supported us with the funeral arrangements. I

n a special way, we wish to thank Fr. John Kathobia, Fr, Francis Githinji, Fr, Moses Kagunya, Rev. Joyce Kariuki and the Kerugoya Community who ensured David’s final Journey was in accordance with his faith in God.

We further thank the doctors and staff at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, particularly Prof. Malkit S. Riyat and Dr. Anne Mwirigi, who attended to David until he left us on 13th November, 2020.

We would also like to deeply appreciate Mrs Nester Theuri who supported David’s nursing care at home. As it is not possible to thank each and every one of you individually, please accept our deepest appreciation for your kindness and support.

Our beloved David, we miss you and love you dearly. Your great legacy lives on.

Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our relatives, friends and colleagues for the overwhelming support you accorded us during our beloved’s illness to the day we laid her to rest.

As a family, our hearts have been comforted, uplifted and have found solace in your words of love and encouragement.

Our special vote of thanks to Dr. Fredrick Bukachi of the Heart Centre Nairobi, Dr. Ayunga of Galaxy Medical Centre, Thika, the entire medical team and specialists who worked closely to monitor and treat Mum in Thika Nursing Home, M.P. Shah Hospital, Karen Hospital, Vineyard Hospital and Coptic Hospital.
It will be remiss of us not to mention the many friends, relatives and neighbours who graced our beloved’s send off.

Our special appreciation goes to the entire clergy led by ACK Thika Diocese Bishop Rt. Reverend Julius Wanyoike, St Andrews ACK Cathedral Church Thika Provost Very Rev. Stephen K. Nduati, Very Rev. Kuria Wanyoike, Rev. John Kibicho, Rev. Catherine Kuria, Rev. Virginia of Gakoe, Mothers Union of ACK St Andrew’s Cathedral Thika, UTI/Kiboko Prayer Group, Mutumia Ngatha and Kiboko Estate Residents, Hands of Compassion JCC Parklands, Chrisco Church, for their constant prayers, overwhelming support and visits to the family throughout this journey.

Our special gratitude goes to Hon. Joshua Toro, Hon. George and Jean Muhoho and close family members for the great diligence in ensuring we all gave our beloved a befitting send-off.

We the family of the late Alice & Alexander Magiri Muthamia, wish to express our gratitude to the almighty God for the time and life we shared with our late beloved Bro, Husband, Dad and Grandpa – Charles Mwiti.

We further express our appreciation to all our relatives & friends, the Silver Group, Lozenges Group, Charles business colleagues, Neighbours, our In-laws and the greater Muthamia family both within and in the Diaspora, for their expression of love, kindness, prayers, moral & financial support as well as messages of condolences and encouragement that were bestowed upon us during our time of grief.

We are futher grateful to all the Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers at the Nairobi Hospital, who tirelessly attended to our beloved Mwiti during his time of sickness and admission.

We also wish to thank the staff of Lee Funeral Home and the Nairobi and Meru funeral committee’s for the exemplary work they did in ensuring we give our “Charlie Boy” a befitting send off.

Our heartfelt appreciation further goes to Pastor’s and the Church fraternity of Don Bosco Shrine, Lavington United Church led by the Nairobi MCK Synod Bsp Rev John Maromba and Kain’ginyo MCK Church Rev Gerald Mungania for providing spiritual nourishment during his sickness, funeral memorial service and at his final Interment at home in Meru.

We, the family of the late Francis Kirungie Ngatia, would Iike to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who have walked this difficult journey with us, since the demise of our beloved Francis.

Our gratitude goes out to all the doctors, nurses, hospital staff and medical fraternity at The Nairobi Hospital who worked tirelessly to ensure that Francis got the best medical care.

A special thanks to Dr. David Silverstein and his team and Dr. Reuben Okioma. Special thanks to Mr. Kibathi Mbugua, the MC, who stepped in from the moment we received the news about Francis’ demise and who has continued to give the family moral support and encouragement to date.

To the planning committees In Nairobi led by Karen Mwalo and in Nembu led by Hilary Mburu, we cannot thank you enough for your tireless work and commitment to planning a befitting send off for Francis.

We would also like to sincerely thank Queen of Peace, Nembu Catholic Church led by Father Peter Mbugua, for ensuring Francis’ final journey was in accordance with his faith In God.

We would also like to thank Rev. Joyce Wanjiru Kariukl for walking with the family during the days that Francis was unwell and the continued spiritual support to the family.

The loss of our beloved James Njuguna Maina (Jaymo) was difficult but we drew strength and comfort from your emotional, spiritual and moral support.
