Appreciation 

2nd August 1941- 6th August 2020

We, the family of Henry Arthur Muthui wish to convey our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all those who stood with us, and supported us to give our beloved Placidia Rose Wangui Muthui a befitting send-off.

We thank the Almighty GOD for the gift of Placidia’s life and the times we shared with her. She was a blessing that we shall forever cherish.

Our deepest gratitude to our immediate family, relatives, friends, neighbors and well-wishers for your overwhelming support in prayers, home-visits, material support and inspiring messages during the funeral arrangements and after the burial of our dearly loved Placidia. We would like to extend our special thanks to Dr. Dan Gikonyo and the entire Karen Hospital Cardiac team, as well as the Parish and community of Karatina Catholic Church.

Finally, we would like to thank the funeral planning committees in Nairobi and Karatina and all service providers for working diligently to give Placidia a befitting send-off. You eased our burden by being there for us and we shall forever be indebted to you. May the Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be graclius to you; The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

We the family of the late Peter Kamau Ngoru would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, kindness, prayers, phone calls, financial support and messages of encouragement that we received during our bereavement.

We thank the Almighty God for the time we shared with our beloved husband, dad and grandpa.

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses & staff at M.P Shah Hospital, Kenyatta National Hospital and Hinduja Hospital, India, who attended to Peter at one point or another.

Special vote of thanks to the staff of Lee Funeral Home, the Homeland, Mwiki and Gatundu Funeral Committees for the exemplary work they did in giving Peter a befitting send off.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all our relatives, Chalbi Industries Ltd, Kenya Ferry Services, friends and colleagues, neighbours and in-laws and the greater Ngoru family for the visits, comforting messages, phone calls, financial support and prayers.

We would also like to thank St Gabriel Mutomo Catholic Parish, Gatundu, St. Dominic Savio Catholic Church, Mwiki, and in particular Fr. James Karanja, St. Mary Immaculate Small Christian Community and the Catholic Women’s Association, Mwiki.

As it is not possible to mention everyone individually, please accept our deepest and heartfelt appreciation for your kindness and support.

The family of the late Regina Wangui Muchiri, wishes to express our deep and sincere gratitude to all friends, family and relatives who so selflessly supported us during the difficult time of our bereavement.

We sincerely thank all of you for your love, kindness, prayers, presence, messages of sympathy as well as financial and material support which enabled us to give our dear departed mom, a fitting final farewell.

We are immensely grateful to the funeral committee especially for their dedication during this period.

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all the doctors, home nursing caregivers and helpers who attended to Mum in the final years of her life here on earth.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to all who stood with us during this difficult period.

Since it is not possible to individually thank everyone who stood with us, it’s our humble request that you accept this acknowledgement as a symbol of our appreciation.

Your prayers, presence and acts of kindness will forever be written in our hearts.

We thank you profusely and may our Almighty God bless you all abundantly.

APPRECIATION

We, the family of the late Architect Nguyo Ngibuini, thank the Almighty God for his life.

He was a great son, husband, father, grandfather, guardian and friend to many.

His life, love and kindness indeed touched and left a permanent mark on many hearts.

Our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all relatives, friends, colleagues, neighbours and well wishers for your amazing moral, material, financial and spiritual support during his illness and promotion to glory.

Special thanks to the PCEA Thindigua Church led by Reverend Silas Baabu, PCEA Unjiru Church, medical staff at Nairobi Hospital, the planning committee in Nairobi, and all those who participated in one way or another in the facilitation of the funeral service and burial that was held on the Monday 4th January 2021.

Since we cannot thank you all individually, our humble request is that you accept this as our sincere appreciation.

We, the family of the late David Nderu, would to thank the Almighty God for the gift of his life and the time we shared with our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, colleague and friend.

Our sincere and heartfelt gratitude goes to our extended family, friends and colleagues who took the time to condole with us through prayer, visits and financial generosity during the funeral arrangements and burial.

We would also like to thank the management and staff of Auto Ancillaries Limited and Sarova Hotels, who supported us with the funeral arrangements. I

n a special way, we wish to thank Fr. John Kathobia, Fr, Francis Githinji, Fr, Moses Kagunya, Rev. Joyce Kariuki and the Kerugoya Community who ensured David’s final Journey was in accordance with his faith in God.

We further thank the doctors and staff at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, particularly Prof. Malkit S. Riyat and Dr. Anne Mwirigi, who attended to David until he left us on 13th November, 2020.

We would also like to deeply appreciate Mrs Nester Theuri who supported David’s nursing care at home. As it is not possible to thank each and every one of you individually, please accept our deepest appreciation for your kindness and support.

Our beloved David, we miss you and love you dearly. Your great legacy lives on.
