We, the family of Henry Arthur Muthui wish to convey our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all those who stood with us, and supported us to give our beloved Placidia Rose Wangui Muthui a befitting send-off.

We thank the Almighty GOD for the gift of Placidia’s life and the times we shared with her. She was a blessing that we shall forever cherish.

Our deepest gratitude to our immediate family, relatives, friends, neighbors and well-wishers for your overwhelming support in prayers, home-visits, material support and inspiring messages during the funeral arrangements and after the burial of our dearly loved Placidia. We would like to extend our special thanks to Dr. Dan Gikonyo and the entire Karen Hospital Cardiac team, as well as the Parish and community of Karatina Catholic Church.

Finally, we would like to thank the funeral planning committees in Nairobi and Karatina and all service providers for working diligently to give Placidia a befitting send-off. You eased our burden by being there for us and we shall forever be indebted to you. May the Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be graclius to you; The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Our appreciation also goes to all service providers for their effective and efficient services.

Finally, we express our profound appreciation to all those who participated or attended the different meetings and functions organised with the objective of ensuring that Mrs. Koech received a sendoff befitting the matriarch she was. These events include fundraisings in Nairobi, Kaplong and Kiptagich respectively. All these efforts contributed to the great success of the final funeral service held at Kiptagich on Saturday 23rd January 2021. We will not forget to thank the Almighty who made everything possible.

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses & staff at M.P Shah Hospital, Kenyatta National Hospital and Hinduja Hospital, India, who attended to Peter at one point or another.

Special vote of thanks to the staff of Lee Funeral Home, the Homeland, Mwiki and Gatundu Funeral Committees for the exemplary work they did in giving Peter a befitting send off.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all our relatives, Chalbi Industries Ltd, Kenya Ferry Services, friends and colleagues, neighbours and in-laws and the greater Ngoru family for the visits, comforting messages, phone calls, financial support and prayers.

Our special vote of thanks to Dr. Fredrick Bukachi of the Heart Centre Nairobi, Dr. Ayunga of Galaxy Medical Centre, Thika, the entire medical team and specialists who worked closely to monitor and treat Mum in Thika Nursing Home, M.P. Shah Hospital, Karen Hospital, Vineyard Hospital and Coptic Hospital.
It will be remiss of us not to mention the many friends, relatives and neighbours who graced our beloved’s send off.
