Appreciation

We the family of Philip Wanderi Kanyenye would wish to thank the Almighty God for the gift of Wanderi’s life and the gift of sharing numerous wonderful moments with him. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who supported us after the sudden loss of our father/ .40 grandfather, for every prayer, every thought, every phone call, every message of condolence and hope, for the generosity, encouragement and kindness shown during the tough time, we can never be thankful enough.

Our special thanks goes to Mathari Mission Hospital Doctors and Nurses who took care of him to the last minute. Our gratitude goes to Kihome Africa Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) the entire AIPCA Mukaro South Diocese Nyeri and its leadership. We also Thank Bishop Karatu for officiating the occasion and all other churches like PCEA Langata, PCEA Emmanuel, PCEA Unity Parish, ACK Membray among others who consoled with the family. We are grateful to Othaya County Assembly Adminstaration, Mahiga Location, Kagonye and Kihome Sub-locations.

We thank the funeral committees chaired by Mr Samuel Waiganjo and Mr Ndungu Wanderi (Dimly) for their commendable job especially with limited time and the current situation of covid- 19 constraints, for Enabling a befitting final journey for our dear father/grandfather.

As we cannot thank everyone individually, we deeply appreciate all that you have done for us and pray that our lord bless you and be with you always.

Message of Gratitude

Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind.

The family of the late Arthur W. K. Busaka — Anne Leah Busaka and the children, Allan, Martin, Kate (daughter in law), brother Dan Kisutsa, sister Joyce Magenya, relatives and friends — were overwhelmed with grief when he passed away on June 22, 2020.

We wish to thank everyone of you for your prayers, messages of condolence, words of comfort and encouragement. Special appreciation to the committees in Nairobi and Vihiga, the church both in Nairobi and Vihiga, our relatives and friends in Kenya and the Diaspora, for their unparalleled support throughout this period. May God richly bless you.

We, the Family of the late Wakili Philip Mitchell Olali Ocharo, Thank God for the years we shared and the blessing he was to each one of us. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation goes to everyone who stood with us during the difficult period of his hospitalization, demise and final send off on 14th February 2020. We offer our heartfelt gratitude to our friends, colleagues, relatives, in-laws, neighbors and all well-wishers who visited with us and gave us invaluable emotional and practical support. For those who travelled, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truely grateful.

A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of The Nairobi Hospital, who attended to him during his illness and to the staff of Lee funeral home, for their professional services.

We acknowledge and appreciate CITAM, Valley Road and Marindi PEFA Church for the wonderfully conducted farewell services, Peniel CITAM, Fedha safari group, Nairobi East SDA and ICC Nairobi West for their spiritual nourishment.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Ocharo & Company advocates family, The Judiciary, NG-CDF Board, EACC, Mbagathi Hospital, all friends and family in the diaspora. Your thoughtfulness, prayers and financial support was priceless.

We also extend our appreciation to the organizing committees both in Migori and Nairobi, who worked tirelessly and with total dedication to mobilize resources to accord Philip a befitting send-off.

We express our deepest gratitude to Prof. Ogolla, Prof. Amayo, Hon. Likowa, Hon. Masara, The U.O.N law class of 1979, The Law Society of Kenya, Magoto Village, Wasari and Suna Girango Association who stood with the family throughout the trying period.

There are several friends, friends of friends, relatives and institutions who contributed immensely at towards Philip’s treatment and supported our family after his demise whom we may not be able to mention by name. Kindly accept this personal and humble expression of our appreciation and gratitude. May the Lord bless you all for your generosity.

Appreciation 

We the family of the late “Sir” John Wambugu Macharia extend our heartfelt gratitude to all relatives, friends, colleagues, committees, various church groups and organizations for the overwhelming support offered to us during our beloved fathers final farewell. We thank those who managed to attend his requiem mass in Thome and finally attend his funeral in Chorongi village, Ruringu Sub-location, Nyeri County. We also thank those who managed to follow his final journey from various places in and out of country through live streaming. Our hearts have been uplifted and comforted by the tremendous messages of love and encouragement.

Since it is not possible to individually thank all the people who selflessly gave to our family in terms of messages of condolence, tributes, prayers and most generous financial support throughout this period, we can only humbly request that you accept this acknowledgment as our token of appreciation.

We the family of June Mmboga Ilagoswa wish to thank the Almighty God for the gift of June’s life and the privilege of sharing numerous wonderful moments with her. We also wish to send our heartfelt appreciation to all those who supported us after the sudden loss of our beloved June. For every prayer, every thought, every phone call, every message of condolence and hope, for the generosity, encouragement and kindness shown during this tough time we can never thank you enough.

Thank you to the committee for their commendable work, especially with very limited time and with the current constraints, for enabling a befitting final journey for June. To June’s group of friends especially ‘The Bradys’ we thank you for all you did to help out and for the special friendship you had with her and for organising June’s birthday celebration.

We are forever grateful to June’s GE family, to all the wonderful friends and colleagues June made and had at GE, for all your help and for organising the remembrance service. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to you. To the Coca-Cola family, we greatly appreciate your help and the brilliant friends and colleagues June had during her time there, for giving her the start into the superb career she had throughout her life.

Our profound gratitude to Nairobi Baptist Church, the staff and clergy especially Pastors Majid Ochieng and Ken Ochola. Further gratitude to the South C home fellowship group who were especially supportive during this time.

We cannot thank everyone individually, however we deeply appreciate all that you have done for us and everything you did for June. This journey begins with June in our memories` and with those memories continuing to turn into treasures.
