It is with a heavy heart that, we announce the death of Prof. Eng. Ezekiel Nyangeri Nyanchaga of the University of Nairobi Faculty of Engineering (Civil & Construction Department), and MD at Samez Consultants Limited after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Surubano Nyanchaga and the late Aska Kwamboka (Ontimo) of Bombere village, Magwagwa sub-location, Nyamira County.

Husband to Esther Moraa Nyangeri, Father to Mercy Bosibori. Father-in-law to Tim Okello

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 9th May, 2024 for a night vigil at his rural home. The burial will cake place on Friday 10th May, 2024 at his rural home in Bombere Village Magwagwa sub-location, Nyamira County

It is with deep sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Pauline Akinyi Osia Otieno which occurred on 28th April 2024.

Wife of Vincent Otieno Jeconiah of Kasau Mrembo Village, North Yimbo and the mother of Jeremy Oriang’ Otieno, Roselyn Achieng Otieno and George Jayden Otieno.

Daughter of the Late Dr. George Hannington Owino Osia and Mama Marie Awino Osia. She was daughter in law of the Late Jeconiah Ouma Oriang ‘and the Late Benta Aloo Oriang’.

Cherished sister of Violet Adhiambo, Terry Achieng, George Omondi and Nereah Achieng. She was sister in law of Lucy Oriang’ and Daniel Abala, Monica Oriang’ Maloba and the Late George Maloba, Jackline Oriang and Lucas Makomondi, Redempta Omondi and Japheth Oywago.

She was a cousin, aunt, niece, sister in law and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Savannah Estate for prayers and burial planning.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 8th May 2024 starting at 2pm at Deliverance Church – Donholm which will also include a funds drive to offset funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nairobi on Friday 10 May 2024 for a night vigil in her matrimonial home in Kasau Mrembo Village, North Yimbo, Bondo District, Siaya County where she will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th May 2024.

We announce the passing of Mrs.Alice Marjorie Yobera of Bujumba, Busia County and Akiba, Langata, Nairobi, on 26th April 2024.

She was wife of the late Joseph Yobera.

Daughter of the late Hezekiah and Martha Ongoma and daughter in-law of the late Samuel and Abisagi Obuya. Her siblings include the late Yunia, the late Apollo, Tryphosa, and Abednego.

Alice was blessed with six children: Evelyn, the late Dudley, Parrot, Cyprian, Roseland, and Alma; 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on 9th May 2024 at the All Saints Citheara Nairobi, from 12.00pm to 1.30pm.

The committal service will be held on Saturday, 11th May 2024 at her home in Bujumba Sub-Location, Butula Sub-County, Busia County.
