It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Stanley Gichunge M’Rukaria, former principal Burieruri Secondary School, which occurred on 19/04/2021, at Nkubu Mission Hospital.

Beloved husband of Eunice Kanyiri Rukaria. Loving father of David Kinyua, Gideon Kimathi, Doreen Ntarara, James Guantai, Peter Mutethia, and John Kiriinya. Father-in-law of Jane David, Purity Kimathi, Harriet Guantai and Gladys Kiriinya. Grandfather of Brian Gitonga, Stephanie Mwendwa, Brenda Nkirote, Tony Muriithi, Victor Mugambi, Liza Gakii, Gift Munene, Elvis Mwenda, Innocent Mwirigi, Immanuel Mutuma, Obed Muthomi, Lilian Jeruto and the late Leslie Makena. Great-grandfather of Afeni Kendi Gitonga.

Meetings are being held at his home in Gachanka village, North !mend, Meru County. The funeral will be held at his home on Saturday 24/04/2021.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Ruth Nkirote Mwambia, who passed on at Huruma Health Centre -Nanyuki on Saturday 17th April, 2021.

Wife of Charles Ntonjira Mwenda (County Government. of Laikipia). Daughter of the late Shadrack Mwambia and the late Susan Nankui. Mother of Josephine Karimi, Damaris anana, Beth Kajuju, Eric Mwirigi, Penina Gacheri and Moses Muriithi.

Grandmother of Liam Ndung’u, Obed Muuo, Muthomi Muriithi and Bernice Ntinyari. Sister of Fredrick Muturia, Julius Kaberia, Zakayo Mwithali, the late Alice Gakii, Regina Kamangore, Caroline Kathambidane and Robert Gitonga. She is an aunt to many.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital on Saturday 24th April, 2021 at 6.00am. The funeral service shall be conducted at St Thomas -Athi Catholic Church at 10:00am and thereafter burial at her home in Riaki, lgembe South Constituency, Meru County.

She will be dearly missed and will forever remain in our hearts!

The cortege will leave Cherenganyi Nursing Home Mortuary on Friday 23/04/2021 for overnight vigil at her Sinoko Village home, followed by burial at same place, on Saturday 24/04/2021.

Funeral Service will be held, tomorrow, Friday, 23rd April 2021, at All Saints Cathedral Church, Nairobi, at 11.00am. Physical attendance will be restricted but online live stream link will be available.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for final rites and burial at his horde in Kamwania Village, Kendu Bay, North Rachuonyo Sub-county, Homa Bay County, on Monday, 26th April, 2021.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd April, at 9.00am for funeral service at ACK Sc. Mathews Cathedral – Eldoret. Burial to be held thereafter at Kiplombe Cemetery.

Onyango (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.), Peter S. Onyango (Capital Markets Authority) and Phillip I. Onyango (D&M Management Services).

Daughter of the late Japuonj Simeon and the late Apeles Odera. Sister to Prof. Lucia Omondi and departed siblings Paul Obara, Dr. Fanuel Muruka, Nashon Ouma, G.Z. Owiti, Arthur, Roselida. Mother-in-Law of Maureen, Emily and Mariah. Grandmother of Ryan, Ibrahim, Iman, Zara, Ngima and Thato. Sister-in-Law of Penina Ochieng, Cleophas Raluoch, Peter Odera, Florence Ouma, John Oduor, Hellen Owino (all departed), Samson Odhiambo and Justice Eric Ogola among others.

There will be a memorial service at ACK St. Peters Nyali, Mombasa on Thursday 22nd April 2021 at 11am.

The cortege leaves Moi International Airport, Mombasa for Kisumu International Airport on Friday 23rd for onward journey to Munara Village, Sigomere, Uholo where she will be laid to rest on Saturday 24th April 2021.
