Daughter of the late Josphat lkenye Uno and Priscilla Wairimu Ikenye. -waif Beloved wife of the late Jackson Njiraini Gachanja. Mother to Rose Wanjiru Kimani (Banana) & the late Paul Mau, Elder Anne Wairimu Kiarie (Zimmerman, P.C.E.A) & the Late Eustace Kiarie Muiruri,The late Dr. Peter Gachanja & Dorcas Njeri, Charles lkenye (WRA) & Ruth Nyokabi, Lt Col (Rtd.), Bernard Njiinu (MD- KEBS) & Margaret Wanjiku, Andrew Ndungu (WWF) & Mary Nyambura, John Kuria (Mini Group of Companies) & Rosemary Wanjiku and Grace Waithera (PKF) & Waiyaki Hinga.

Family and friends are meeting (virtually) daily for prayers and funeral arrangements. AII meetings start at 6.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 17th April 2021 at 8.00am for burial at their rural home in Karatu, Gatundu South starting at 11.00am.

Adored mother of Clara Karimi, Martin Muriuki, Eric Mugambi, Linda Muthoni, Louisa Makena, George Kiragu and Collins Mugendi. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Curry, Brandon Curry, Kaylie Curry, Martin Muriuki Murungi Junior, Sylvia Mukami, Joram Mbui and Wendy Mwende.

Sister of the late Joyce Mbiro, Emily Muthoni, the Late Hezekiah Miriti, Mannaseh Mugambi, Rebecca Njagi, Elen Igoki, Eunice Mukwanyaga, the late Bildad Nyaga, Lydia Cangu and Mundia Muchiri.

Sister-in-law of Speranza Kagoji Riungu, the late Juliet Mugure Kithinji, Adeline Karega Gitonga, Virginia Karauki Gitari, the late Mary Goretti Mugambi, Delfine Kirimi and Patrick Nyaga.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Hospital Funeral Home at 7 a.m on Saturday, 17th April 2021, for the burial ceremony at their home in 40 Maruchiu Village, lruma Location -Tharaka Nithi County.

Wife of the late Samuel Olela. Beloved mother of Zainabu (St. Christabel Yala), Sophie (ICRC), Pauline (USA) and Jackline (One Heart Kenya). Mother-in-law of Ayari (PSC), Eluid (USA) and Christoper (Eldoret). Sister of Joyce and Alice. Grandmother of Angie, Linda, Zeman Juliesantana, Zarin, Kwame, Zindzi, Abigail, Nkosi Julie, Zilan, Zuri, Zuella and Zion.

The cortege will leave Yala sub country hospital on Tuesday 20/04/2021. Burial will take place on the same day at Anyiko Village, Yala, Siaya County. All Covid19 protocols to be observed.

Grandfather of Engineer John, Virginia, Isaac, Dr Kagwe, Milka and Keith. Great-grandfather of Liam, Leon, Aila, Giana, Myla, Elias and Ethan.

The cortege leaves Cherangani Nursing Home on 17/04/2021 for burial at his home in Wamuini, Kitale on the same day.

Busia), Catherine Nalialo lnaagai (Angurai Teso), Rasoa Nekesa Kuya (Kiminini Masaba), Twins; Josephine Nafuna Sasi (Suam-Twiga Endebes), and Benjamin Sifuna Jacklyne Namaemba Angutsa (Nairobi), Florence Khamala Ndiema (Olengesum Machewa), Morris Nakieruki (Kiungani Makindu), Christine Mukwambo Nalwali (Webuye), Moses Mulupi (Mumias), Nuru Wamalwa (Big Tree farm), Emanuel Buika (Toll) and Brenda Nakhumicha (Toll). He was Father In-law to Charity Makena Njabikha, Gideon Inaagai, James Kuya, Patrick Sasi, Veronica Nanjala Sifuna, Solomon Angutsa Atsiaya, Shasgai Masibai Ndiema, Ruth Nekesa Nakieruki, Hannington Naiwali, Florence Misango Mulupi and Susan Wanjiru Nuru. He had 43 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was a Brother to the Late Luke Makokha, the Late Jestmore Makhanu, the Late Abel Wasike, the Late Tamara Namwila Atlai, the Late Dina Nasiebanda, and James Wakhungu Nakieruki. He was a stepbrother to the Late Phoebe Nabalayo and the Late Samuel Wakhungu.

The Burial will take place at his home in Toll Village, Nabiswa Location, Kiminini Sub County, Trans Nzoia County. The Cortege leaves Kiminini Cottage Hospital Mortuary on 16th April 2021 to his home in Toll Village where the burial will take place on Saturday 17th April 2021.
