It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rebecca Wambui Muiga, who passed on 20th January, 2021.

She is the third born daughter of the late Wilfred Ndirangu and the late Priscilla Nyokabi. Wife of the late Jason Muiga. Sister of Jane Wangui, Kahiro, the late Ngugi, the late Wangari, the late Wanjiku, the late Muthoni, the late Kamau and the late Njoroge.

Mother of Monica Wanjiru (Thika), John Ndiritu, Samuel Ndirangu (USA), the late Priscilla Nyokabi, Charles Wahome, Gladys Nyakibia (Narumoru), Titus Ngugi (Narumoru Mwichuiri), the late Stanley Githua, Stephen Kirathe, the late Leah Wangari, the late Mary Thanji and Josephine Muthoni (USA). A grandmother, great-grandmother and an aunt to many.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (OUTSPAN), on Friday 29th January, 2021, at 8:00am, for a funeral service at AIPCA Giakanja, from 10:00am. She will later be laid to rest at her home in Gathugu Village, Karla Sub-location, Nyeri County.

The Lord gives and the Lord taketh. In God’s hands you rest surrounded by angels. In our hearts you will live forever.

Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord. May you rest in peace. Amen!

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing, on of Mr. Duncan Mugo Ndirangu (MD) after a short illness at M.P Shah Hospital on the 25th of January, 2021.

He worked as Chief Economist at the Deputy President’s Office before being appointed the Director-Planning at the National Treasury where he was worked until his demise.

He was the son to the late Boniface Ndirangu Wambugu and Eva Wangui Ndirangu.

Father to Selipha Wangui, Valyne Wangechi, Ian Maina and Ady Wangui.

Brother to Ambrose Wambugu, Joseph Kariuki, Eng. John Maina, Simon Wamae, Josphat Gatebi (Public Service Commission ), Elizabeth Wairimu, Patrick Mahinda, Joyce Wanjiku, Late David Muthuri, Dr. Solomon Mahinda, Rosemary Wangari, Jane Wanjiru, the Late Michael Muriuki, Joram Matu, Ellud Njaramba, Moses Weru (Equity Bank) and Nazarene Muthoni.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (KU) on Tuesday 2nd February, 2021 at 7:30 am for the burial at his home Kinyaiti village, Kieni West Sub-County, Nyeri County on the same day.

It is with deep sorrow and full acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear beloved husband, father, son, brother, Uncle, friend and colleague, Qs. Joseph Muthumbi Maina. He answered the call to be with the Lord on Tuesday 26th January, 2021 at 7.00am, after a brief illness. At his passing, Qs. Muthumbi worked at The Ministry of Transport, Works. Infrastructure, Housing & Urban Development and Public Works; State Department for Public.

He is beloved husband of Adv. Brenda Wahiga Waithaka, father of Jayson Maina Muthumbi, Nathan Waithaka Muthumbi and Augustine Mbugua Muthumbi. Dear son of Mr. Joseph Marna Muthumbi and Mrs. Mary Njeri Mbugua of Kiamunyi, Nakuru. Son-in-law of Eng. Nathaniel Waithaka Wanyagi and Mrs. Margaret Wambui Waithaka. Brother of Jonah Maina, Peninah Maina, Priscilla Maina and David Maina. Brother-in-law of Qs. David Muchiri Mathenge, Jacqueline Wanjiku Waithaka and Caroline Wothaya Waithaka. Uncle` Peninah, Mary, Maina, Ivy, Wangechi, Njeri and many others.

Friends and family in Nairobi will be meeting daily at Holy Family Basilica from 5.30 – 7.00pm. Friends and family in Nakuru will be meeting at their home in Kiamunyi from 5.30 – 7,00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 2nd February, 2021, at St Augustine Catholic Church, Kiamunyi Nakuru starting at 10.00am. Burial will follow thereafter at Karima Mutiume Village, Kihingo, Molo at 1.00pm.

Son of the late Munyao Kitoo and the late Kathike Munyao. Husband of the late Dorcas Kaswii Mwangangi. Father of Zipporah Mutio Mwenze, Johnson Kitoo Mwangangi and Dickson Muny’old Mwangangi. Brother of the late Kisilu, the late Kimolo, the late Kaanda, the late Kathili, the late Kaluu and the late Kasiku. Step-brother of the late Ngonzi, the late Katuva, late Kakii, the late Munyote and the late Munyao. Son-in-law of the late Mutua Ngwatu and the late Malinda Mutua.

Father-in-law of Jeremiah Mwenze, Veronica Kitoo and Peninnah Ndunge Munywoki. Brother-in-law of Grace Mukunyi, late Yula Kimolo, the late Nduku Kisilu and the late Kivinya-Kaanda. Grandfather of Eric, Peter, James, Itumbi, Syowia, Mbisi, Willy, Munyao, Karen Kaswii, Magdalene Kaswii, Vincent and Alex. Uncle of Simon Katuva, James Musango Kathili (A.G Machakos County Government), among others. He has left behind Fifteen Great-grandchildren.

Meetings are being held in Nairobi online and at his home.

Burial will take place on 30th of January, 2021, at his home in Sofia Village, Kyawango Sub-location, Wamunyu Location, Mwala Sub-county, Machakos County.

Final meeting to be held today, at Garden Square Restaurant at 4:00pm.

Mother of Margaret Wanjugu (Iruri), Fredrick Murigu (Marigiti, Nbi), James Kariuki (Lolliodo-Ruai), Alice Wamuyu (Aliki, Nbi), the late William Kanyi and Zippora Hiuko (Zippy, Nbi). Mother-in-law of Margaret Murigu, Ann Kariuki & Hon Clement Warutere (Gatarakwa). Aunt, grandmother & great-grandmother to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at their Iruri home, Karatina – Mathira for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Thereafter for funeral service at their Iruri home, Mathira Nyeri county starting 10.00am.

Son of the late Leonard Mwimwa Kimiza and late Lucy Wangari Mwimwa. Christine Makena Kirera was the loving girlfriend. Father of Jane Wangari Kimiza (Alameda California). Brother of Catherine Wakesho, James Maina, Raymond Mwaluda and Mary Wanjiku.

Grandfather to Avana Wangui Mandan. He was a nephew to Jane Njoki Kanogo (Nakuru), Tabitha Kanogo (USA), Margaret Nyambura, Mary Waithira among others. He was brother-in-law to Antony Ndirangu, Doreen Kendi and Florence Wanjiku.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at Plant House, Membley and Mshokoronyi, Dembwa.

The cortege departs Kenyatta Funeral Home on Friday 29th January 2021 for burial on Saturday 30th January 2021 at Mshokoronyi, Dembwa in Taita Taveta county.

Brother to the late Muanza Nzomo, Late Mutua Nzomo, Mary Kituma, David Musyoka Kiseli, late Syokau, late William Mutungi, late Leonard Iketha, late Peter Munyao and Mueke Munyambu. Uncle to Phoebe Kisu, Maundu, Hon. Francis Mutungi, Hon. Mutunga Mutungi, Zacharia, Raphael Nzomo, Philip, Jane Ndinda among many others.

Sister of the late Kinyua, the late Kimaru, the late Macheru, Wambui, Kabau and Violet Muriithi. Step-sister of Wairimu, Reverend Nderitu, Macharia and Nguyo Mumero.

Friends and family have been meeting for funeral arrangements at her home in Chieni Village, Ruguru Location, Mathira, Nyeri County and in Nairobi.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Matthews Isutsa Shileche Aboka. He rested on the 16th of January, 2021, following a short illness bravely fought.

He worked as a Deputy Provincial Director of Education in Nyanza province, County Director of Education in Nakuru and Kericho Counties. Until his demise, he was an Assistant Director, Education at the Ministry of Education, Jogoo House.

Son of the late Richard Shileche and the late Rhoda Ingumba. Loving husband of Rose Aboka. Loving father of Abby Aboka and Victor Nyaribo, Gilbert Shileche, Sharon Aboka, Wendy Aboka, Elsie Aboka and Stacey Aboka. Brother of Samuel, Rebecca, Isaiah, Professor Dorcas, David, Moses, Grace and Zelpha, the late Jenifer, the late Jackton, the late Winston, Peter, Mary, the late Jacob and Ruth. A loving grandfather of Trayvon Luca, Teagan Levi and Gramuel.

Funeral ceremony will be held at Kakamega Township Primary School, starting from 8.00am, followed by burial at his home in Shibuli near Kakamega Town, in Kakamega County on 30th January, 2021.
