It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Alice Rajoro Ajwang who passed on at Gem Kaudha Ndori on Saturday January 30th.

Daughter of the late Zedekiah Ojore and the late Dolphin Ojore. Mother to Oketch Ajwang Jowi, the late Margaret Ajwang, The late John Ajwang and the late Rose Ajwang. Sister to Magdaline Obura Okewa, Alfred Ombogo Ojore, Leonida Bolo, Josephine Aloyo, Margaret Obado, Charles Otieno, Ooko Ojore, Consolata Obado, Margaret Mirasi. Grandmother to Alan, Edwin, Beatrice, Kevin, Jared, Steven, Hillary, George, Nicholas, Otieno and Irene. Mother-in-law to Siprose Oketch, and Alex Onyango.

The cortege will leave Bondo District hospital Mortuary on Friday February 19th and burial will take place at South Sakwa, Nyandiek village Ndori on Saturday February 20th.

Adamson Nandi Masingila, 64, died January 28, 2021 in Syracuse, NY (USA) from end stage renal disease.

Born in Kakamega on April 27, 1956 to Gideon and Elizabeth Masingila, he went to the United States in 1977 to attend Hesston College (KS) where he earned an associate’s degree. He completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Goshen College (IN) in 1981. He met Joanna (Osborne) in 1978 and they married in 1981. They were blessed with Moses (1987) and Rebekah (1990) while living in Indiana. The family moved to Syracuse (NY) in 1992. Adamson worked on an adolescent psychiatric unit at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis (IN) and as a teaching assistant for OCM BOCES in Syracuse. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Syracuse.

Adamson is survived by his wife, Joanna, children, Moses (Jennifer Clark), and Rebekah (Emmanuel Hubbard), and two delightful twin granddaughters, Makayla and Mackenzie Hubbard, along with his father, Gideon (Kenya), stepmother, Truphosa (Kenya), brothers, Stephen (Oregon) and Gregory (Kenya), and sisters, Florence Weche, Grace Magunga, Edith Masingila, Sheila Masingila, and Molly Masingila (all in Kenya), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth, and brother Jack.

Adamson was a kind, gentle, and generous man with a wonderful sense of humor who was friendly and helpful to all he met. He had deep and meaningful relationships , with family and friends throughout his life in Kenya and across the United States who loved him greatly. Adamson will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.

There will be a memorial service held in Bushiangala, Kenya in July 2021.

Brother of the late Bosco Lumumba Ila, William Odhiambo, Caroline Achieng, Mary Anyango and Felix Okoth.

Cousin of David Odede, Fredrick Odede, Boy and others.

Brother-in-law of Truphosa Atieno, Millicent Adhiambo and Ruth Nyangonga.

Nephew of John Odede, Nahashon Ojijo, Risper Adhiambo, Benter Akoth, Grace Akumu and Caren Akoth.

The cortege leaves Kirindo Mortuary – Mbita – on Tuesday 2nd February, 2021, for burial on Wednesday 3rd February, 2021, at his home in Imbo village, Kanyada East Location, Homa Bay County.

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Virginia Kasiva Mutua, of Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Coop Trust Plaza, which occurred at The Nairobi West Hospital, on Thursday, January 14th 2021.

Daughter of the late Charles Mutua and Juliana Ndulu. Sister of Eunice Mwikali, the late Dennis and Kelvin Mutuku. Wife of Peter Mulandi. Doting mother of Jeremy and Michal. Daughter-in-law of the late Musyoka Nzoka and Priscilah Musyoka.

A valued member of the extended Nzoka, Muturi and Kyenze families.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her homes in Syokimau and Makuuni as well as at the Salvation Army, for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves from The Nairobi West Hospital mortuary on 30th January, 2021 at 7.00am for Ulu Primary School, for a funeral service and thereafter, burial at her place in Makuuni.

Daughter of Yusaria Moraa and Jacob Onyango, Daughter in-law to the late Nahashon Minyonga and the late Mama Martha Kemunto, wife to Zablon Rashid Minyonga, mother to Joyce, Nimrod and Brian. Sister to, Doris, Esther, the late Nehemiah, the late Norah, the late Mellen, Lydia and David. Sister-in-law to Sarah, Susan, Isaiah, Anne, Wilter, Rachael, Ben, Rhodah, Haron, Japheth, Julius and Shem, Evelyn and Eunice. Aunt to Reuben, Iteba, Collins, Nicole, Deborah among others, cousin to Timothy, Dorcas, Hamisi among others. Mother-in-law to Caleb Obanyi, grandmother to Lydia, Stacey and Terry.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Public Service Club from 5pm to 8pm.

The cortege will leave from Aga khan hospital mortuary on Thursday, 11th February 2021. Funeral services and burial will be held at her home in Nyabomo farm, Trans Nzoia County.

Father to Eunice Kabwere (County Government of Makueni), Duncan Kabwere (Diani Beach Hospital) and Florence Kabwere OKUAT). Father-in-law to John Mutio and Lillian Kamau. Brother to the late Solomon Mwambu, Mwambu (Sk) Daniel Moses, Gideon Mutua, Rachael  Kathumo, Ruth Mwende, Justus Musyoka, Nicholas Mutunga, Benjamin Mwanzia and Elizabeth Ndinda A dedicated grandfather to Timothy Kabwere, Sandra Kalekye, Samuel Mumo and Alvin Kabwere. Beloved uncle, mentor and a great friend to many.

Family and friends have been meeting at his home in Mbitini-Kitui County and Mboloti Welfare-Mombasa for prayers and funeral arrangements.

He will be laid to rest on 30th January, 2021 in his home in Mbitini Kitui County.

Brother of Dominic and Hellen Kamata (Imara Ent ltd,Thika), Dr John B. and Lois Githiori (Nairobi), Ann Nyambura and Bernard K Mukoma (Thika). Son-in-law of Susan Wanjiku Mbugua. Brother-in-law of Vivian Wangari. He is an uncle of Martin Njogo, Marvin Nganga, Fred and Sandra Guchua, Melanie Njeri, Bakhita Wanjiru, Kalufa Kamata, Elvis Mukoma, Terrence Njogo, amongst others. Nephew of Dr. J.W. Githiori and Florence Githiori, Jane Mugure Njogu and Margret Wambui, amongst others. He is an uncle/cousin to many.

Friends and family are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at 5.30pm at St. Paul’s Chaplaincy, Nairobi.

The funeral mass will be held at Shrine of Mary Help of Christian, Don Bosco Church, Upperhill, Nairobi on Tuesday, 2nd February, 2021, from 9.30am and the internment thereafter at Ngoliba Thika on the same day.

The Board of Management and the entire fraternity of Nyamweru Secondary School, with deep sorrow and shock announces the untimely death of our beloved Principal, Mr. Simon Ng’ang’a Ndumbi, which occurred on Monday, January 25th 2021, after a fatal road accident along Nakuru — Nairobi Highway.

Son of the late Mr & Mrs Ndumbi Mud. Husband of Catherine Wanjira. Father of Dennis Wachira, Daphne Wangui, Victor Mutuanjau and Prudence Wanjeri. Grandfather of Bianca, Abigail Abishag and Uel Motsi.

Mr. Ng’ang’a has been our Principal since 2007 up to the time of his demise totaling to over 14 years. He offered his services with dedication and was a visionary leader.

There will be a requiem Mass on Saturday 30th January, 2021 at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church — Githirioni (next to the school) from 10:00am.

Burial preparations are ongoing both at school and his home in Njoro — Nakuru( county The Funeral service and burial will take place on Tuesday 2nd February, 2021 at Subukia — Morro Farm, opposite Loremeta Primary School.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. AII these things are gone forever.” – Revelation 21:4.
