Funeral Service and burial will be held on Saturday 6/02/2021 at Mbajo Village, Chekalini Location, Lugari Sub County and Kakamega County from 9am.

Husband to Esther Njeri Kamau. Father to Bryan Kihara, Allan Kabetu, Elizabeth Muthoni, Nelly Gachiku and the late Penny Wamucii. Father-in-law to Stella Wamaitha, Shadrack Kanyoro and Fredrick Owino. Grandfather to Brandon Kamau, Njeri Kihara, Nathan Malele, Wangui Kanyoro among others. Son to the late Joseph & the late Muthoni Kihara. Son in law to late Thomas and the late Gachiku Kabetu.

Brother to the late Francis Kibugi, the late Joe Githingi, Irene Wamucii, David Kamau, Kahumba, Sheila, the late Wanjama, jimmy, Betty, Munene, Charity, and Keff. Uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Ongata Rongai and Muranga at Githanga Village.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 07:30am on Tuesday 09th February 2021, for funeral service and burial at Muranga,

Brother to Benedict lsaboke, Silvester Asiago, late Teresia Manganga and Kerubo Mokaya. Stepbrother to Ratemo, Ombese, Nyangaresi, Osore, Bosibori, Sarange, Kenyansa and Mariah. Son inlaw to late Matara and late Nyaburi. Father inlaw to late Tom Ombasa, Kennedy Ongeri (Nyaburumbasi School), Cyrus Ontweka (Koliech School), Robert Mokona (USA), Edwin Nyantina (Kamiti Prison), Emilly Ombese (Ministry of Labour Naivasha), Stella Omete and Abigael Omete.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Hospital on Monday 8th February 2021 at 2pm and the burial will take place on Tuesday 9th February 2021 at his home in Matongo Village, Bonyando sublocation, Bogiakumu location, Kisii County.

St. Patrick’s Missionary Society regrets to announce the death of Fr. JP Bohan in Ireland on 20th December 2020.

Fr. JP was ordained on Easter Sunday, 1953. After ordination he was appointed to Kenya where he would spend the next 60 years of his life. Commitment to education was a life-long focus of his priestly ministry. He ministered in Eldoret and Nakuru Dioceses and in the Catholic Secretariat in Nairobi.

In 2013 he returned to Ireland where he spent the remaining years of his life.

A Thanksgiving Mass for his life will be held on Monday, February 1st, 2021 in the Society Prayer House, Lanet, Nakuru. Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, the Mass will be private.

Daughter of Stephen Gituku Wainaina (formerly of KNEC) and Violet Karura Wainaina (formerly of NCCK).

Sister of Victor Wainaina, Janet Mwende and Philip Gituri. Loving aunty of Ahadi Gituku.

Niece and a cousin to many.

The funeral service and burial will take place at her parents’ home in lkinu Village on Tuesday 9th February 2021 at 10.30am.The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home in Githunguri, Kiambu County at 9am.

Son of the Late Lawi and Prisca Osino. Husband of Jackline Atetwe. Father of Beatrice (Kisumu Girls), Lawi (St. Marys Yala), Prisca and Hope. Brother to Maureen Ong’ombe, Anthony Omondi, Beatrice Otieno, Dorothy Ogola, Joseph Osino and Elizabeth Aluoch. Nephew to Caleb Ong’injo, John Mdhune, James Were & Nelson Ochieng. Brother in Law to the Late Rev. Ong’ombe, Prof. C.F. Otieno, David Ogola and the Late Fredrick Ochieng. Grandson to Ong’injo Abudo, Jerusa Netia, Yonah Ochieng.

Fundraising will be held on Tuesday 9 Feb at 5 pm at All Saints.

Burial will be on Saturday 13 February 2021 Mnara, Uholo, Siaya County.

Beloved son of Matilda Olango and the late Mzee Joseph Oloo. Husband of Ruth Akoth Alando. Loving father of Belinda Achieng Omondi, Baker Ochieng Omondi and Victor Otieno Omondi.

Brother of Philip Oloo, Kenneth Otieno, Lynette and Elizabeth Olango. Son-in-law of Flora Alando, the late Elisha Alando, the late Pelesia Alando, the late Sela Alando and the late Esther Alando. Grandfather of Javan Orioki. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend of many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday, 28th January, 2021 whereby a church service will be held and thereafter the body leaves for Asembo.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, 29th January, 2021 at his home village in Railingo, Rarieda Constituency, Asembo.

Father of Moses Chesoli, John Chesoli, Nyokabi Chesoli, Victor Chesoli and Emmanuel Chesoli. Brother of Edwin, Nelly, Shadrack, Miriam, Harrison, Steve and Christine. Nephew of Wangari, Karanja, Steve, Florence, Ngugi, Wanjiru, Evans, Ruth, Naomi, Timothy, Anne, Joseph, Wafula (410), Wanyama and Waswa. Cousin of the Wafulas, Ngaruiyas, Mbuguas, Njirainis, Karanjas, Ngugis, Kimanis, Kamaus, among others.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his parent’s home in Kitale-Prisons Farm and at his Chepkoilel (Sogomo-Grow Well Village) home.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday 29th January, 2021, at 12:00pm for an overnight vigil at his Chepkoilel Home.

Funeral and burial service will be held on Saturday 30th January, 2021, from 10:30am, at his home in Chepkoilel Sogomo Grow Well Village.
