Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Ltd regrets to announce the death of Maxswell Sina Olero, which occurred on 30th January 2021 at Metropolitan Hospital. He hails from Kisumu County, Nyakach sub-county. South Nyakach Location, East Kandiang’a village.

Son to the late George Olero and the Into Elidah Adhiambo. Loving Husband to Juliet Nanjala Okisata. Father to Kylo James Maxwell. Brother to Derick, Felix, Kevin, Duncan and Ajusi.

Friends and relatives are meoting daily at his home Umoja Innercore near Deliverance Church Umoja from 6.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 12th February 2021 at 7.am for an overnight stay at his home Kisumu County, Nyakach sub-county, South Nyakach Location, East Kandiang’a village. Thereafter the burial will be held on Saturday 13th February 2021.

Mother in law to Isaac Kamweru (UK), Mercy Wanjiru, Nancy Wanjiru, Charles Gatanyu (UK), Hannah Njeri. Joseph Wachira and Njenga Macharia. Sister to the Late Stephen Kamau Muthui, Elizabeth Mumble Rosalind Nieri, and the late Annabel Wanjiru. . Grandmother to Wanjiku Muroki, Chris (UK), Leo (UK), Esther (UK) Leonard, George, Shiku, Kinuthia, Kibe, Shiku, Wanjiru, Muthoni, Leonard, Theuri, and Leonard, and Shako. Aunt to Hon. MCA Gerishon Wangiri, Kabete Ward among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her Njatha-ini home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 12th February 2021 at ACK St Joseph’s Church, Kanyariri at 11:00AM and thereafter burial at her Njatha-ini home, Kanyariri, Kabete Sub-County.

Beloved daughter of the late John Kihanya and Janet Wambui. Beloved mother of John Kihanya, Alice Wambui, Anorld Mwaura, Ann Wanjira, Hellen Wairimu and Janet Wambui. Sister of Ndung’u Kihanya, Agnes Mugure, Joseph Kihanya, Mburu Kihanya, Nyambura Maina, Teresia Kihanya, Alex Ng’ang’a and James Kamau, Shosh of Ayden Ndua and Tahillah Wairimu. Auntie to many and a cousin to many.

Daily meetings are being held at City Hall, Court 1 and 5th Avenue – Ongata Rongai.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on 11/02/2021. Requiem Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church – Nyaduma in Lari Constituency, Kiambu County, starting from 11.00am. She will be laid to rest at Kihanya’s residence Nyanduma Raini Village.

Step-mother of Stephen, John, Monica, Eunice and Moses. Mother-in-law of Eng. Hudson Obanda (USA), Francis Oringe (Nzoia sugar Company), Esther Okwara and Elisha Nyambaka (USA). Sister of the late Mark Werimo, the late Andrew Werimo, Jennifer, Thomas, the late Felistus, Phaustine among others. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, one grandson-in-law and 3 great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Tanaka Hospital Mortuary – Busia, on Thursday 11/02/2021, at 12:00pm, for a church service at St Paul’s Mujuru Catholic Church. Burial will take place on Friday 12/02/2021, after a graveside service at her home in Esirisia Village, Busia County.

Daughter-in-law to Mr. Charles Gikunda (Muthee) and Harriet Gikunda of Kibori Sawmills Kibirichia. Sister to Late Maingi, Karimi and Simon, Murithi and Kinya, Edward, Murianki and Faith, and Mutea. Beloved auntie to many. Sister In-law to Kanyiri and Mwenda, Jeffa, Kimathi and Fridah, Karimi, and Muthomi. She is cousin to many.

Funeral arrangements are being held daily at her husband’s home in Kimbo, Kibirichia.

Brother to Sifa Nyaboke Indakuli and Wema Tabitha Mokeira. Grandson to the late Hon. James Nyamweya of Matutu Settlement Scheme and Jemimah Nyaboke Nyamweya and Amb.Aggrey Abwenga Shitsama, the late Margaret Shitsama and Rose Shitsama, of Shivagala Village, Kakamega.

Family and friends are meeting at Akila One Estate, behind Strathmore University, for burial arrangements from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, daily.

Funeral church service for Kukhu Akumu will be held from 10am at Butula Catholic Church on Friday, 12th February 2021.

Funeral service and burial will take place at Bulwani Village, Butula/Marachi, Busia County on Saturday 13th February 2021.

The late Elizabeth was a niece to Mumbi, Emily, Wambui The late John Wairimu, The Late Elvis Ndungu, The Late Charles and Nancy. She was a niece to the Pere’s namely, the Late Joachim Olepere, Josphine Pere, The Late Stephen Pere, Jackline Katitu Among others. She was aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Father of Felix Cheruiyot, Joel Kipchirchir, Allan Kipkosgei, Job Kiprop, and Brian Kiprotich. He was also a guardian to Shadrack Kiprop and Joanne Mengich

He was a brother of the late Lameck Mibei, the Late Japhter Tiony, Jemimah Sang, Erick Mibei, Apollo Tiony, the late Phoebean Jemutai and General (Rtd) Jackson Tuwei.

He was a brother-in-law of Herodion Tiony, the Late William Sang, Rael Mibei, Jane Elizabeth Tuwei, Rosaline, Joseph, Meshack, the late Rael, the late Mary and David.

The Cortege leaves Eldoret hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 10th February 2021 for burial at his farm in Chemoset, Soy constituency, Uasin Gishu County on Thursday 11th February 2021.
