It is with great sadness but acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Duncan Ng’ang’a Githuka which occurred on Monday, December 28th 2020 in a road accident.

He was an audit senior at Deloitte East Africa; and a co-founder and lifetime member of GUSA Gatundu.
Son of Mary Njeri Githuka and the late George Githuka.

He was twin brother to Dr. Heho Githuka, and brother to Lucy Muthoni, the Late Peter Njuguna, Isaac Kinuthia, Samuel Njenga, Dr. Andrew Mwengwa, the Late James Mbui and Hannah Gathoni.

Uncle to George Githuka, Mary Waibara, Peter Njuguna, Mary, Angela, Brian and George Kinuthia; George and Stephen Njenga; Mercy, Mary and Elizabeth Karia. He was Brother-in-w to Andrew Karia.

The cortege leaves General Kago Mortuary, Thika on Tuesday, 5th January 2021 to be laid to rest on the same day at their rural home in Kang’oo village, Mang’u, Gatundu North.

Friends and family continue to meet every day at their rural home as well as at Tango Gardens, Kimbo.

In God’s hands, you rest.

Until his death he was a Tutorial Fellow, in the School of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Son of Moses Wahiu Njoroge and Jane Wanjiru Wahiu of Gatimu location, Oljororok, Nyandarua County.

Brother of Joseph Muriithl Wahiu of RC Prisons – Nakuru, Geoffrey Kariuki – Nyahururu Boys’ High School, James Kinyanjui – Kagumo High School, Winnie Wangari GK Prisons – Nanyuki, Rosemary Wanjiku – JKUAT.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at the family home – Munanda village.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu General Hospital Mortuary at 10.00 a.m.on Tuesday, 29th December, 2020 for a funeral service and burial at 11.00 am at his family home – Munanda village, Gatimu Ward, Kiwanja Location in Nyandarua county.

Funeral rites will be conducted in accordance to Ministry of Health Covid- 19 guidelines.

She was wife to Pastor Daniel Cheruiyot (Principal AIC Chepkoiyo Secondary School) and mother to Esther and Victor Mise, Ezra, Enecho, Elizabeth and Elias.

Daughter to Esther Ngunyi and the late Joseph Ngunyi, daughter in law to Alice Chelogam and the late Willy Chelogam.

Sister to Isaac (late), Margaret, Simon, Irene, Martin, Gladys and Jerioth Ngunyi.

Sister-in-law to Charity Nyawira, Ephraim Njogu, Joseph Karanja, Njuguna, Ezekiel, Stephen, Micah, Catherine, Nancy (late) Chelogam and others. Lovig aunt and cousin of many.

Until her demise she was a career teacher and principal at Jomo Kenyatta Girls High School, Nakuru.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are being held daily at Jomo Kenyatta Girls’ High School and her rural home in Chepseon, Kericho.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Tuesday the 29th December 2020 at 0700 hours for the funeral service at Kipyemit village on the same day.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, at 8.00am.

The service and the burial will be held at Yamumbi Farm Cemetery, on Wednesday 30th December, 2020.

She was cousin and auntie to many including the Wanjofus, Sibeles, Mukuyias, Ayumas, Andayis, Okuyos, Okolas, Amisis, Ngotas & Oluteyos.

Carolyne was loving wife to John L. Nyongesa Starehe Boys’ Centre and School, Nairobi) and an adoring mother to Nigel Matthias Nyongesa St. Bridget’s Catholic School, Nairobi.

She was sister-in-law to Hellen Malava (FHI 360, Nakuru), Catherine Walubengo (Ministry of Information, Bungoma), Antony Nyongesa lchiga school), Emily Nyongesa (Ministry of Lands, Nairobi), Leah Were entrepreneur in Mumias), Andrew Nyongesa Masika and Edith Buchere.

She was a daughter-in-law of Mr. Nelson Nyongesa Masika of Dorofu village, Bungoma County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Starehe Boys’ Centre for prayers. The body is lying at Chiromo mortuary.

There will be a requiem mass at Starehe Boys’ Centre Chapel on Monday 28th December 2020 at 2.00pm.

The body leaves Chiromo mortuary on Tuesday 29th December, 2020 at 7.00am for burial on Wednesday 30th December, 2020 at Dorofu village, Kanduyi Sub County, Bungoma county.
