Great Grandparents: Elizabeth Ngina & the late Boniface Kitonyi; John King’oo & the late Rebecca Syornbua; Ann Wangari & the late Samson Kamau; the late Mary Wanjiku uiruri.

Niece to Michael Muiruri (Elburgon Secondary); Anne & Geoffrey Githinji (USA); Simphorosa (Kenya Builders), Lucas Mwatu (Business Man); Ivia (RVI) & Eric Okondo (Brand & Strategy Specialist); Seraphia (NRC),  Mike Makau (Business Man). Cousin to Agatha Mukui (Kathiani Girls), Martin Mwaura (USA), Mitxel Samora (Shani Angaza), Alexia Katee (Kiuini Preparatory) and Mikaela Nash.

The body is at Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi. Burial will be at Ngethwa Village, Kibauni Location, Kibauni Ward, Mwala Sub-county, Machakos County on 13th October 2020.

Sister of Magdaline Mueni, Mercy Van Turenhout, Stephen Maingi Nganda, Jacinta Kjendlie and Pauline Nganda. Aunt of Caroline, Maureen, Quillie, Monique, Nganda, Watiri, Jeff, tan, Roshele, Wayua, Kamwana and Sharline Miriti.

Daughter-in-law of Prof. and Mrs Njenga Munene. Sister-in-law of Mr Nills, Mr. Vibe, James, Kinyanjui, Dorcas, Grace and Nduta Maingi.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Funeral Home at 9.30 a.m. on 13th October 2020 for the funeral service at PCEA St Paul Church at 10,00 a.m. and thereafter the burial at their home in Acre lmwe, Thamanda near KEFRI HQ, Muguga Kikuyu.

Funeral arrangements are underway at their home in Thamanda (Acre Imwe) Kikuyu.

Mother of Margret Njambi, the late Joseph Nderitu, Sarah Wanjiku, Joshua Kiboi, John Muturi, the late David Kairu, Teresia Mwihaki, Tabitha Wangari, Elijah Mahinja, Lillian Nduta and Ruth Wambui. Step mother of Mirriam Njambi, Joseph Wagura, Ann Mwihaki, Moses Kuria and James Muturi.

Mother-in-law of Julia Nderitu, Lucy Kiboi, Monicah Muturi, Beth Kairu, Priscilla Mahinja, Margret Mahinja, Esther Wagura, Jane Kuria, Grace Muturi, Francis Kanyi, Joseph Ng’ang’a, Peter Mbugua, James Thuku, Dematrious Mutitu and Willy Mbatia. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Sister of the late Tabitha Wangari, the late Ruth Wambui, the late Mary Njeri, the late Hannah Nyaguthi and the late Samuel Kairu, Elizabeth Ngima, Bilha Wangui, Grace Warutho and Teresia Kagure. Sister-in-law of Grace Njeri Kairu.

There will be a memorial service at her Kwaharaka home on Sunday 11th, at 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Catholic Hospital Funeral Home on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at 9.00am for burial at her home in Kwaharaka, Bongo Village, South Kinangop. `

His body will be moved from Litein Hospital today, Friday 9/10/2020 for burial tomorrow Saturday 10th at his home Sibaiyan Village, Chesoen Ward, Bomet County from 9am.

Father-in-law of Nathan Ngonjo (Planscope Consult —Limited). Grandfather of Jaila Mwihaki, Kayla Wanjiru, Hayley Wanjiru. Brother of Reginah Waithera, the late Jacintah Wambui, Cecelia Wangui, Faith Kiiru, The late Simon Churu and Magdalene Njambi. Uncle of Margaret Njeri and many others. Cousin of Joseph Kamau Gakunga of Naivasha, Evan Muturi Gakunga of Kiruri, Ben Murang’a among others.

Friends and family are meeting at Lake View Estate, Naivasha (From 5:00PM daily) for prayers and funeral arrangement.

The Cortege will leave War Memorial Hospital Mortuary – Nakuru on Sunday 11th October 2020 at 9:00 a.m. The funeral service and Burial will be held at his home Mukhuyu Village, Maraka Ward, Webuye, East Sub-County in Bungoma County on 12th October 2020 from 9:00 a.m.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at George Kariuki’s residence in Ruaka.

The cortege will leave St Terezas Hospital Mortuary Thindigua on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at 9.00am followed by funeral service and burial on the same day at Ruaka.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr. John Maina Gichinga, (Crocodile Tours & Travel Nairobi) and a member of Karen Community Church on the 7th of October 2020 peacefully at his home after a long-term illness.

He was the son of the late Wilson Gichinga the late Miriam Njoki of Kijabe Town. Loving husband to Mary Waithira Gichinga adored father of Wilson Gichinga, Dr. Henry & Wambui Ndegwa (Finland), Jacqueline Njoki, Dennis & Peninah Muiruri (Finland). He was a doting Guka to 10 wonderful grandchildren. John was the brother to Baring Gathecere, Mary Wairimu Gichinga, Boniface & Phraciah Wambui Mugo, Danston Mbiru & Elizabeth

Gichinga, Rose Gichinga & the late Dedan Karuga Gichinga, Geoffrey & Ann Nyambura Nganga, Peter Mari &Wanjiru Gichinga (USA), Henry Maigua & Florence Gichinga, David & Eunice Gachambi Kinyanjui, David Njuguna Gichinga, George Gitau & Loise Wangui Ndungu. He was a dear uncle, mentor, friend & colleague to many.

Family meetings are taking place daily at his Karen home from 4pm — 6Pm, and at All Saints Cathedral Mon 12th — Wed 14th October from 5.30pm — 7pm.

Viewing of the body will be at Umash Funeral home on Friday 16th October at 8am. In line with Government Covid regulations, the Family funeral service & burial will be held on the same day at the AIC Kijabe Church & cemetery respectively from 11am.

Family and friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Geta and Nairobi for burial arrangements. The final fundraising to help offset hospital and funeral expenses will be done on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at Professional Centre, Parliament Road, Nairobi at 5PM.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nairobi on Wednesday 14th October 2020 for burial on Thursday 15th October 2020 at her home, Geta, Mochenwa Village, Nyamira County.
