On 6th October 2020 in Virginia, USA, our beloved Moses Nyaga Ngare made his transition to his eternal resting place. He was husband to Wambui Ngare and leaves behind his children Jeffrey Ngare and Peter Ngare.

Son of the late Rev and Mrs. Geoffrey Ngare, brother to Timothy Ngure Ngare (Mutio), Josiah Murigu (Wanja), Elizabeth Muthoni, Purity Muhindi (Joe), Chris Irimu (Wairimu), Wahome Ngare (Muthoni) and the late Esther and David Nzoma. Mercy Wairimu, Achisah Wanjiku, and Nancy Nyawira Ngumba (Jason). Son-in-law to Peter and Margaret Kimani. Brother-in-law to Njeri Kimani (Zoltan) and Wanja Kimani (Andrew).

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday 15th October 2020 at St Andrews Church, Nairobi starting at 5:30pm. Funeral service will be held on the same day in Virginia where he will be laid to rest.

Sister in law of Evelyn Gitonga (MD Crescent Height Real Estate Ltd), Dr. Yvonne Kiriinya (U.S.A), the late John Murithi, Monica Kimathi, Gladys Kajuju, Rose Nkatha, Kirimi Francis, Martin Mwenda, David Kimathi, Daniel Kinyua and Geofrey Gitonga. Lovely grandmother of Treveon Karani and Avinnah Kendi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mulerene Villa Hotel Kaciongo Maua Town for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves St. Theresas Kiirua Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 16th October 2020 for a funeral service and burial at her home in Mboroga Village Kiirua Location Buuri District Meru County.

The body of mama leaves KNH Mortuary for funeral service at FIC, ngong road and she will be laid to rest on 17th October, 2020 at her home in Kakamega County, Namundera village.

She was the wife of the late Samson Maina Asanyo of lsecha Village, lkuruma Location. She was the daughter of late Evans Muotuka and Paustina Bosibori of Keera, Embonga Location. Mother to Janet Moraa (MKU) Nakuru, Delphine Misente (Ogembo), Decla Mongina (Nairobi), Shem Ochogo, Jemima Nyanchama. Co wife to late Jemima Kemuma, late Alexina Nyaboke and Karen Kemunto. Sister in law to Geoffrey Asanyo, late Mwango, late Nyarinda, Petero, late Omariba, late Ochogo, Bochaberi, Bosibori, Guto, Bilia, Moraa, Hesiba, Stella, Esther. Daughter in law to; the late Joram Asanyo, late Moraa and Mokua. Auntie to Robert Maina (Kimunye Factory), late Sophia, Josephine, Richard, George, late Susan James, Nancy, Charles, late Florence, Steve, Helen, Sikebu, Stella, Beatrice, Marita and Mary. Sister in law by marriage to late Nyaganyi, Chebunga, Eunia, Pafica and Tabitha. She was in good health until March 2020 when she was taken to Ram hospital and in April 2020 she became sick and she was taken to Nyamira District Hospital and diagnosed to be suffering from tonsillitis and ulcers. On 5th October 2020 she became ill again and was taken to Kisii level six hospital where she was discovered of having severe Tuberculosis. She passed away suddenly on 11th Oct 2020 at Kisii referral hospital whilst undergoing treatment.

She will be buried on Friday 23rd October 2020 at Isecha Village, Ikuruma Location, Kisii County.

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing to glory of the late Madam Mary Goretty Akinyi Muta on 2nd October 2020 which occurred after a short illness.

Mary was daughter to the late Mzee Maurice Mbai Obonyo and Mama Catherine Atieno Mbai of Kanyachiri Amoso Village; Kowili sub-Location, Central Kochia Location, Rangwe Sub-County, Homa-Bay County. She was sister to The Late Dr. Chrispine Odhiambo Mbai, Donald Odiwuor Mbai, RTD. Col. Raymond Odoyo Mbai (K.D.F), Gerald Ochieng Mbai (Rongo University), Dr. Francis Onyango Mbai and Beatrice Atieno Obonyo (East African Community & Regional Development). She was stepsister to Asalmus Jomo, Kennedy Mbai, Mary Akinyi (World Food Programme), Seline Ayoo, the Late Omondi Mbai, Clement Otieno Mbai (K.D.F) Martin Mbai, Judith, Irene, Late Joan, George Ochieng, Chrisantus and Emilly. She was daughter-in-law Akinyi Muta to Mr. and Mrs Shem Odero.

She was the wife to Mwalimu Silas Muta Odero, mother to the late Calvine Onyango, Brenda Achieng, Holicent Amondi, Judith Akoth, Shem Odero, Victor Mbai, Mike Odiwuor and Teddy Omondi. Grandmother to eleven grandchildren namely; Frank, Charity, Marvelin, Ronald, Godfrey, Whitney, Silas, Christine, Calvince, Mitchell and Angel. Mother in law to Winnie and Moraa, Sargent Tom Ogalo, Eng George MK Dhano and John Okoth.

She was niece to the late Mzee Casmir and mama Consolata Pacho Odumbe Obonyo, the late John Oyugi Obonyo, the late Omanya Obonyo, the late Anayo Obonyo, the late Awuor Obonyo, the late Mageto Obonyo, the late Omingo Obonyo and Chrispine Aseto Obonyo. She was also niece to the late Sulmena Akelo, the Benedetta Jaleny, the late Ngare Aye and Anna Orinda Dolla. Cousin to the late Isabella Oduogi, Fiti, Carilus Odero Odumbe, Thamasis Jaramba, Mary, Theresa Odera, Sixtus, Onesmus, Lucy, and Elizabeth among others.

She not only was active in the church but participated in its missionary, evangelism and leadership programmes. Indeed, at the time of her demise, she was an ordained Lay Reader serving Otaro parish of the Anglican Church of Kenya.

Her body will be laid to rest at her family home on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020 in Otaro, East anyada, Homa Bay County after service by St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Otaro.

Fare thee well our mentor, our pillar, our teacher, our counselor, our friend, our mother. To you, we jointly say…Rest in peace nyar gi Aron.

Nephew to Daniel Amunabi, Chilanya, Kuya and others. Cousin to Kaya Chilanya, Ambubi, Ambita, Nehemiah Odera, Isaac Mukhwana, Itusi Koli and Josiah Jairus. He is a father to Mary Nyandiko, Modelling, the late Ayoma, the late Akengo, David, lsaya, the late Elikana, Peter Obuyi, Benjamin, George, Juma Hamisi, Zainabu, Nyaugenya, Rehema, Halima, Arthur, William, Susan, Ibrahim, Isaka, Rabia Obuyi and Elisha Andere. He is survived by 55 grandchildren and a number of Great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Emmassaba funeral home on Thursday 15th October 2020 and the body will be laid to rest at his home in Ebuhando Angai, Bunyore, Vihiga County on 16th October 2020.

The Lord is merciful He may bring us sorrow but His Love for us is sure and strong He takes no pleasure in causing us pain or grief. Lamentations 3:31.

It is with profound sadness and sorrow that University of Nairobi Enterprise & Services (UNES) LTD announces the Death of an Exemplary Member of Staff Mr. Geoffrey Waswa Sikuku. He succumbed on October 3, 2020 while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital. At the point of his demise Mr. Sikuku was attached to the Audit Department as an Internal Auditor.

He was Son to the Late Jacob Sikuku Maruti and Late Mary Namarome. Son In-Law to Late Edward Wanyonyi and Late Anne Nanjala. He is survived by his beloved Wife Nancy Naliaka Wanyonyi. Two Daughters, Valentine Sikuku and Dorcas Sikuku and Two Sons, Danson Sikuku and Dayton Sikuku. Bothers: Edwin, Joseph, Leonard, Robin, Bryan, Regan and Moses. Sisters: Jennifer, Dina, Pamela and Joy.

The Cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Parlour on Friday October 16, 2020 and a Funeral Service and Burial on Saturday-October 17, 2020 at Mulembe Village, Mukuyuni Sub Location Bungoma North Sub County, Bungoma County.
