It is with the deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved wife and mother Mrs. Dorothy Auma Ogada on August 14th 2020.

She has left behind a loving husband George Aoko Ogada and Children Louis X. Aoko, Rolland Odhiambo, Neville Omondi, Ray Ochieng and Elvis Sedah. She was the Daughter-in-law to the late Nelson Aoko and Mama Wilkista Omollo. She was a daughter of the late Nashon Onyango and the late Yuanita Onyango of Kisumo, Nyahera Kandalo Village. Sister to the late Geoffrey Bodo, the late Tom Jagero and the late Johnnie Onyango. Sister-in-law of Jane Bodo, the late Jane Jagero and the late Mary Jagero. Cousin to Gordon Kaoko and Meshack Ndalo.

Aunty to Dr. Evans Bodo, Yunia Bodo, Emily Akoth, Rita Bodo. She was Sister In-law to Uncle Jim Aoko (U.K.), Uncle Fred Aoko (U.K.), Aunty Susan Obonyo, Aunty Roslyn Otieno of Texas, U.S.A, Aunty Mary Ochieng’, Aunty Nelly, Alice and Janet Odhiambo, Edward Aoko, Godfrey Aoko and Dan Aoko amongst others. Mother-in law to Mrs. Nicola Onyango (U.K.), Linda Odhiambo, Jane Omondi amongst others. Grandmother of Asher Onyango, Giovanna, Ryan and Nevina Omondi.

The body is at Nyabondo Hospital Morgue. The burial will be presided over by Rev. Tom Ouma of AIC Nyabondi at the family home on 29th of August at Kabete Village.

Mummy you walked with us through life everyday. We cherish all moments and remain thankful to God’s grace for this joyful life that you shared with us. AMEN

We are saddened to announce the promotion to glory of Mama Janet Margaret Awino Omogo (Mik’Omogo) on 22nd August 2020.

She was wife to former Councillor-Martin Ado Omogo of North Seme Ward, East Katieno Sub Location, Kojwang Village-Bar Korwa. Co-wife to Victoria Omogo. Loving daughter of the late Joash Ajuang’ Omuomo and the late Abigael Ogada Ajuang’ of Sirongo OwareVillage, Siaya County. She was step-daughter to Peres Ajuang’, Jennifer Ajuang’ and Alucia Ajuang’. She was daughter-in-law to the late oseph Omogo and the late Serfina Ombuya Omogo. She had eight children namely: The late Stephen Ado, Judy Akiriyi, Antony Okoth, Onyango Omogo, Dorothy Atieno, Ann Achieng, Sophia Majuma, Thomas Omondi and step mother to Teddy Odhiambo and Faith Awiti.

She was mother-in-law to Nicholas Omondi, Mathew Onudi, Shadrack Ndege, Catherine Mwanza, Martha Sunda and Joyce Wambui. She is survived by 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was sister to late Samuel Oyugi. Step siblings are Isaiah, late Luke, late Wycliffe, Alois, late Mary, late Leah, late Pamela, Tabitha, Salome, Risper, Roseline, Caren and Elizabeth. Her brothers and sisters-in-law include late Mathews, Jenipher, Alex, Mary, Dr Hongo, late Jane, Florence, Juliana, the late Nicholas and Selin. Aunty, cousin and friend to many.

She will be buried in North Seme Ward, East Katieno Sub Location, Kojwang Village-Bar Korwa on Saturday 29th August 2020.

Sister of the late Katiku, Kaviti and late Ndunge. Sisters-in-slaw of the late Kaloki, late Masesi, late Muasya, late Ndindi & Mathli. Mother In law of Colleta, Mary, Maryjuster, Nzisa, Rose, Jackline, Agnes, Late John Mwatu, late Musembi, Kilonzo, David Nzioka among others. Her in-laws were Mr & Mrs Joseph Maingi, Mr & Mrs Kilungu, Mr & Mrs Musyoka Mulwa among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monallsa Funeral Home Machakos on Tuesday 1/9/2020, at 8am for funeral service at Ngomeni secondary school compound and thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home Kasainl village, Mutituni, Machakos county.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Wanjiru Wahome of The Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA) which occurred on Sunday 23rd August 2020 while undergoing treatment at Texas Cancer Centre, Nairobi.

Until her demise, the Late Grace Wanjiru Wahome was working with the University as a Procurement Officer.

She is the daughter of Peterson Wahome and the late Jane Wagaki, she was a doting mother to Mr. Peter Paul Wahome and sister to Joyce Njeri, Charity Muthoni and Eliza Wambui.

Burial arrangements are ongoing at the deceased’s home in Jamhuri estate Furaha court, Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday, 29th August 2020 at 8.00am followed by a funeral service and thereafter burial at her home in Kiruga village, Karima location, Othaya sub-county in Nyeri County.

We regret to announce the death of our beloved Eston Barack Mbajah who rested on 16th August 2020 at Tacoma, WA.

Son of the late Mzee Erasto Seda and Mama Susana Aloo. He was the loving husband of Esther Molly Mbajah and father of Evans, Elliot, Joy, Nelly, and Enos. He is survived by his brothers Maurice Seda, William Ogendo and many loving nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Hon. Robert John Ouko, Dorothy Randiak, and Collins Seda. He was the father-in- law of Mercy, Esther, Antony, Samuel, and Mandi. His grandchildren Natalie, Mehki, Roman, Kingston, Isabel, and Molleigh brought him much happiness and he loved them dearly.

Mr. Mbajah loved and served his country diligently and wholeheartedly in various capacities including Deputy Secretary in the Attorney General’s Office, Deputy Provincial Commissioner in Central and Coast Provinces and District Commissioner in several districts.

Burial will be held in Nyahera, Kisumu Country West on 10th September 2020.

Grandmother of Collins, Brian, John, Ian, Ronaldo, Elizabeth, Mitchelle, Hope, John, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Liz, John, Justine and Leon. Great grandmother of Wambui and the late Sherah. Relatives and friends are meeting at her Ngara residence and her Kiamunyi home in Nakuru for prayers and funeral arrangements at 4.00pm.

The burial is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 1st September 2020. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru County at 9.00 a.m for the burial service at P.C.E.A Kiamunyi Church. She will be then laid to rest at her home in Kiamunyi at 2.00pm.

We are saddened to announce the passing on of Bishop Daniel Mbiti of Kings Embassy Christian Fellowship, which happened on the 14th of August 2020 after a short illness. His body was laid to rest at his home in Mbooni West, Wambuli Village on 17th August 2020.

Husband to Rev. Rebecca Kanini Mbiti of Kings Embassy Christian Fellowship. He was a father to Victor Mbiti, John Mbiti, Joshua Mwendwa Mbiti, all three living and working in America, Rev. Samuel Mbiti of Kings Embassy Christian Fellowship Machakos, and Peter Mbiti working with Dell Technologies. He was Father in Law to Kari Mbiti, Marissa Mwendwa, Alice Mathu, Maryanne Kyalo and Faith Mbiti. He is survived by ten grandchildren namely; Corey Howard, Quinten Howard, Katanu Grace Mwendwa, Noah Kyalo Mwendwa, Kimari Kanini Mbiti, Nathaniel Mwendwa Kyalo, Brayan Kyama Kyalo, Amy Pendo Kyalo, Aylee Kanini Mbiti and Ian Muuo Mbiti.

Daniel Mbiti previously worked with Kenya Commercial Bank and upon retirement partnered with DOVE Christian Fellowship International where he served the Lord diligently. He was the Presiding Bishop of Kings Embassy Christian Fellowship. Bishop Daniel Mbiti fought the good fight of faith, He finished his course and now awaits his Crown of glory. We bless God for a life well lived.

As Mbiti’s family, we wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all our relatives, friends, committees, various church groups and organizations for the overwhelming support offered to us during our beloved Husband. Father, Bishop, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and friend’s final farewell. We thank those who managed to attend his funeral in Wambuli Village, Itetani Sub-Location,Tulimani Location, Mboonl West Sub-County, Makueni Courny.
