It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jimmy Kimotho Kaguamba of Thika Muguga which occurred on Wednesday 19th August early in the morning.

Son of the late Jeremiah Kaguamba and the late Tabitha Njeri. Brother of David Gatoto, the late Joseph Kimita, George Miricho, the late Wachira, Mirriam Kirigo, Pauline Wairimu and Margaret Wangari. Husband of Rebbeca Njeri Kimotho. Father of Lucy Wanjiru, Tabitha Mumbi, Mercy Kirigo, Jeremiah Kaguamba and Robert Kiguru. Grandfather of Rina, Emma, Tawana, George, Gina, Cindy and Jimmy Kimotho. Great-grandfather of Glen. Son-in law of the late Misheck Kiguru and the late Priscilla Wanjiru.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Thika Muguga next to CCI church and Nyaithee Kaguamba Village for Prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye funeral at 7.00am on Thursday 27th August. Burial will take place their home Nyaithee Village Tetu, Nyeri county.

It is God who gave us Jimmy Kaguamba and It is Him who has called him back to heaven. To God be the Glory.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily from Monday, 24.08.2020 to Thursday, 27.08.2020 at the family residence at Sabaki – Lemon Valley Estate off Mombasa Road within Mavoko Sub County.

The burial will take place on Saturday, 29.08.2020 at the family home in Kithungo – Katumani, Mbooni West Sub County.

The 1st child of the late Kipkoech Selembu and the late Toyoi-Tapsirat Selembu of Kapkimeiwo. Beloved husband of Lilian Jelagat Selembu. Son-in-law of the late Mariko Cheruiyot Sarguta (N’gutuma) and the late Veronica Kon’gato Cheruiyot. Brother of Cecilia Jemulwa Rotich, Tungo Kakenya King’asunya, the late Elizabeth Selembu, and the late John Kibiwott Selembu. Doting father of Dorcas, Florence, Michael, Eunice, Angeline, Samson, Moses, Mary and Symon. Father-in-law of Geoffrey, Linah, Lawrence, Emily, Sally and Nick. Uncle of the Rotichs, the Sambuengwes, and the John Selembus.

Brother-in-law of David Rotich, the late Kimeita Olodolkera Sanbuengwe, Beatrice Selembu, Monicah Sarguta, the late Matayo, Dinah Chepg’eno, Elizabeth Flick, Nehemiah Cheruiyot. the late Jonah, the late Thomas Cheruiyot, Philip Cheruiyot, the late Miriam Sargura., the late Reuben Cheruiyot, Easter Sarguta, Johana Sarguta, Musa Cheruiyot, Esleen Cheruiyot, Elijah Cheruiyot, Cheptum Cheruiyot, Kipkoech Cheruiyot among others Cousin of the late Andrew, the late Letipa, Ledama, Laleiyo Selembu, the Songoyos amongst others. The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, 26th August 2020, followed by a funeral service and burial at his home Logiri Village, Lembus Kipsogon, Baringo County, from 11.00am.

Daughter to the late Barnaba Kaihu Kinyanjui. Mother to Fidelis Mataiwua (Nairekiangare), Late Regina Kagika (Loitokitok), Antony Kang’ethe (Kiambogo), Bernard Njuguna (Ngong), Mary Ng’ang’a (Upper Kabete), Michael Kariuki (Kiserian), Sofia Mataiwua (Mombasa), Sindora Maseenke (Narok).

Grandmother to Peter Mataiwua, Elizabeth Muthoni. Kihika Kang’ethe, Wambuj Njuguna, Antony Ng’ang’a, Zipora Turere, Santei Maseenke amongst 54 others. Grear- grandmother to Major Saitoti amongst others. She was great-great-grandmother to 9. She was a sister to Mbugua (Kinangop), John Njenga (Ruiru), Mburu Kambo (Maai Mahiu), Daudi Kambo, Penina, Magu, Njoki, Mumbi, Emily, Late Fredrick Kambo and Margaret. She was an Aunty to many including Fr. William Muchai of St. Lwanga, Njoro. |

There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral Ngong today, 25th August 2020 at 11am.

The cortege leaves Memorial Mortuary Nakuru tomorrow, 26th August 2020 for Mass at Home in Makongo, near St. Peter’s Catholic Church Kiptangwanyi, Nakuru County.

Brother-in-law to the late Mrs. Alice Manyara, Mrs. Sarah Mathai, Dr. Kilonzo Mutiso (Gilead Mental health), Mrs. Rahab Githiomi and Mr. Jadiel Kamuyu amongst others. He was a beloved Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews

Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home at 8:30 am for a Funeral service at Nairobi Baptist Church Ngong road from 10:00 -11:30 am. (Due to COVID restrictions, funeral service will be restricted to immediate family members only.) Thereafter burial will follow at Lang’ata Cemetery Nairobi. Father of the late John Kiamba, the late Mutuku, Eng Januaris Mutisya and Christine Mumo. Brother-in-law of the late Kiteng’e Kyengo, Kavivi, the late Kamene, Mbethi and many more. Grandfather of Wanza, Mueni, Mwongeli, Makau, Kanungwa, Tina, Ndeto, Katile, Rose, Cynthia, Ednah, Mercy and Mwendwa. Great Grandfather of Deleva, Lydiah, Ryan, Kiamba, Millicent and others. Father in-law of Angeline Ndunge, Joyce Wayua and Muema Kituta. Uncle, cousin and nephew of many.

We regret to announce the death of the late Captain (Rtd) Joseph Kiprono Mitei of Kaptebee, Turbo.

He was the first born son of the late Ezekiel Mosonik and the late Tabutany Mosonik. Brother to Mary Mosonik, Grace Sura, the late Zakayo Mitei, Rael Rono, the late Elijah Kenduinvo and the late Samuel Mitei. He was of the Kapbecherek Clan.

The late Captain (Rtd) Mitei was married to Rodah Mitei and Esther Mitei and they were blessed with the following children namely; the late Ruth Chepkemoi, the late Anne Chepngeno, Paul Rono, Livingstone Rono, Samson Rono, Agnes Chepkoech, the late Margaret Chemutai, Everlyne Cherotich, John Rono, Robert Rono, Francis Rono, Millicent Chepkurui, Patricia Jeptoo, Beatrice Jepngetich, Marion Cherop, Hillary Kibet and Sheila Chepkemei. They were also blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kimbilio Funeral Home Kipkaren River today Tuesday 25th August at 8.00am for prayers and Viewing at his home in Chemi Chemi, Saboti, Trans Nzoia and for overnight stay at his home in Kaptebee. Burial will take place on 26th August 2020 from 10.00am.

Daughter in law of Joseph Kisulu Nzau and Veronicah Mutimbe.

Son-In-Law to the late John Gicharu and Mary Wagikuyu Gicharu (Gatundu, Brother-In-Law to Reverend Joseph Boro (Kimbo Parish), Moses Kinuthia, Keval Kabera, Kamau, Pastor Gitau, Kamoni, Njau, Kamita, Mungai, Late Wambui and Late Kagecha. He was an uncle to many.
