Beloved son of the late Ishmael Otieno and late Beldina Angala of Agulu Village, Central Alego Location, Siaya County. He was son in law of the late Martin Opile and Pamela Abuto. Loving husband of the late Margaret Awange. Father of Diddy Rosslyn, Ishmael Awange, Beldina Achieng (Kenyatta University), Mercelyine Aluoch (University of Nairobi) and Jessica Awange. He was brother of Walter Oduor, Sybil Amolo, Evelyne Adhiambo, Tobias Otieno, the late Malachi Omondi, Ernest Otieno, Dorcas Buop and the late Arthur Otieno. Cousin of Eng. William Ochieng Opwapo, Barrack Omondi Odero, Ayub Oluoch among others. Brother in law of Don Riaroh, Noel Riaroh, Milton Otieno,Nixon Okota, Robert Owino, George Otieno Oswayo, George Omondi, Noel Owiti,Apolo Achieng, Beth Tanga, Margaret Ariwi, Elizabeth Riaroh, Dorine Auma, Mercy Oswanyo among others. He was uncle of Tom, Kola, David, Herine,Ted, Dennis, Amos, Millicent, Merab Omondi, OJ, Ishmael Omondi, Merab Ombul, Ishmael Otieno, Jackline Ogutu, Ishmael Ogutu among others.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 31st July 2020 at 6am.

The burial will take place on Saturday, 1st August 2020 at his home Agulu Village, Siaya County.

Mother in law of Angelica Mugambi, Grace Mutuma, Betty Mwenda and Bernard Karani. Sister of Julia Muguna, late Priscilla Rutere, Beatrice Kaburo, the late Mary Mbeu, the late Francis Murungi. Grandmother of Mwirigi, Nkirote, Gatwiri, Munene, Natasha, Kathurima, Ntinyari, Muthomi, Patience, Murithi, Mugambi, Pune,Ksmathi and Mwirigi.

Family and friends are meeting at her family home in Nchooro Village Kibirichia, Meru.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home at 8:30 am on Friday 31st July 2020 followed by a funeral service at family home at Nchooro Village Kibirichia – Meru County. The burial service will be conducted in line with the Government regulations on Covid-19.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Joseph Ng’ang’a Mbugua of Kenya Power, Nairobi West (Capital Hill Ragati Depot).

He was the son of the late Samuel Mbugua Kagunda and the late Naomi Muthoni Mbugua. He was the loving brother of James Ndichu (deceased), David Mwangi, Rose Wanjiku (deceased), Hannah Wairimu, Peter Kihara, Esther Wambui, Edith Njihia and Paul Mburu (USA). Joseph was the loving husband of Ann Nduta Ng’ang’a and Tabitha Wangui Ng’ang’a. He was also the loving father of Milka Wanja Ng’ang’a (Germany), Samuel Mbugua, Naomi Muthoni, Rose Wanjiku, Abigail Wambui and Daniel Gathenge.

He will be laid to rest in his rural home in Kibuga Village, Githunguri Sub-county in Kiambu County on Wednesday July 29, 2020.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
