Son of the late Ngaii wa Kibira and Teresia Wagikondi. Loving husband of Agnes Wanjiku Kariuki. Father of Eunice Nyambura, Miriam Wangari, Leah Njambi, Peter Maina and David Kariuki. Brother of the late Georgina Wanjiku, Francis Kibira and Julius Gikonyo.

Brother-in-law of the late David Kariuki Mwangi and Miriam Wangari. Father-in-law of the late Jessi Kiragu, Reuben Wanjau, Bernard Wainanina, Josephat Mwangi, Elizabeth Wanjiru and Peris Wanjiru. He has left behind several grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Mukurweini District Hospital on Friday, 10th July 2020 and thereafter burial will take place the same day at his home at Mukurweini, Gikondi Location, Karindi Sub-Location Nyakahuho village.
