Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kabiru Ng’ang’a and Son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Haron Macharia. Beloved husband of Leah Wangari (Formerly Pollmans Tours & Safaris). Father of John Kabiru, Harun Macharia, Beryl Anyango and Elizabeth. Grandfather of Wangari Macharia.

Brother of Samuel Ng’ang’a, Joyce Wairimu, the late Faith Nyaruiru, Peter Mboche (Nakuru), Wilson Kanene (Timboroa Hotel), Leonard Gichanja Kabiru (Wagatonye) (K.P.L.C) and Lucy Wambui (Kileleshwa Primary). Beloved grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home for burial on Saturday 11th July 2020 at his family home in Kayu-Rwatha, Kangema, Murang‘a County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Edgar Omondi Onyango a Teacher at Oloolua Primary School in Ngong. He succumbed to a short illness on Friday 3rd July 2020.

Son of the late Mr. Frederick Onyango Oloo & Mrs.  Jenipher Atoka Onyango of Kager Clan lhonje Village Mumias. Brother of Benedict Ochieng, Fiona Achieng (Germany) and Mary Awino. Nephew of George Randiga, James Ogada, Charles Randiga, Ayub Titus, Monica Ogada and Mary Randiga. Cousin of Bongo, Arnold, Gabriel, Tonny, John, Fred among others.

The cortege will leave City Mortuary on Friday 10th July 2020 for an overnight stay at their rural home in Ihonje Mumias. The burial will take place on Saturday 11th July 2020.

Brother of the late Patrick Mutinda, the late John Nthome, the late Peter Mbindyo, Nzioka Muli, Mary Ndanu, the late Maria Mwongeli, Francis Mbole, Janefer Mutheu. Step brother of Lucia, Paul, Susan, Mutie, Kilonzo, Mwikya, Gideon and Elizabeth. Uncle of Tony, Alex, Charles. Muli, Jacinta, Sylvester, Maureen among others. Loving colleague and a friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Mililu village Kyeleni.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral home on Saturday 11th July 2020 for the final burial ceremony at his home in Mililu village.

Son of the late John Robert Obudho, Priscilla Obudho and Helida Obudho. Husband to Mary Obudho. Father to Lillian Obudho, Moses Obudho, Priscilla Obudho and Janet Obudho. Brother to (the late Godfrey Mboha, Dunstan Obudho, Joseph Yamo, Jairus Abayo and Samson Mango), Grace Osewe, Margaret Auma, Isaac Obudho, Willis, Pauline, Caroline, Maureen, Uyoga and Florence.

Father-in-law to Yuphine Auma, Patrick Odaba and Joel Sang’. He was a grandfather of five.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 10th July 2020. Burial will take place his home in Goma village, Got Ramogi Sub-Location in Central Yimbo, Bondo.

The Directors, Management and Staff of Occidental Insurance Company Ltd wish to announce to our clients and business partners, the untimely demise of Mr. Richard Mombo  who until his death on Sunday 05-07-2020 was an Assistant Manager in our Claims Department. He passed away after a short illness.

Mr. Mombo has served our company with distinction for more than 30 years having joined the company literally on its first day of operation. He joined the company as a junior clerk in 1987. He was there when the company opened its doors to the first customer, and he has been there offering solutions to OIC customers with an extraordinary dedication. We have seen him grow from one level to the next tagging along so many who found inspiration under his leadership. Richard Mombo has left behind a team of dedicated staff who for the years drunk to their fill from the cup of his wise judgement and often basked in the glory of his accommodating heart. We truly believe that Richard Mumbo’s dreams will live on through his family and also through the staff he mentored and inspired during the time he served in Occidental Insurance Company Ltd.

The burial arrangements shall be communicated in due course.

Wife of John Kabaka, mother of Juliet Wanjiru Kiplagat, Robert Ndegwa, Ken Kigo and Christine Kiringa. Sister of Zipporah Nyambura Gachagua (Chairlady of AIPCEA Murang’a Diocese), Mary Kinuthia (USA), Grace Wanjiru, Ruth Njihia (KEBS), Rachel Wairimu, Peter Njiiri (KEBS), and John Mukuna. Mother in law of Andrew Kiplagat Byma. Daughter in law of the late Willis Mwangi Kibaka and Ruth Wanjiru Kibaka. Step sister of Francis Macharia, Jane Kimemia, Gerald Macharia, Faith Mbiruru, Joseph Njiiri, Wilfred Njiiri (Vol) and Agnes Nduta. Grandmother of Kayla Wambui, Milan Chebet, Alijah Kimutai, Eli Kabaka, and Bella Wambui. Auntie of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at their home in Garden Estate for funeral arrangements and a memorial service shall be held at Ridgeways Baptist Church on Thursday 9th July, 2020. It shall be streamed live.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on 10th July, 2020 at 8am. Burial will be held on the same day at Kinyona Village, Murang’a County.

She was the cherished wife of Mr. Collins Ochieng Laja of Asembo Kanyikela Lwak and the daughter of Japuonj Augustine Mumma Odongo and Emmerensia Mumma of Ramogi, Nyakach, Sigoti. Daughter-in-law of the late Blassins Laja Denge, the late Gaudensia Agawo Laja and Mama Leocadia Laja and the dear mum to Blacyn Agawo Ochieng and Bhakhita Ochieng. Sister to the late John Opiyo Mumma, the late Minna Oduol, the late Gerald Akumu, the late Jacinta Buoro, Prof. Albert Mumma, Dr. Conny Martinon, Joseph Odongo, Tom Mboya, Dr. Anne Ananga.
