Wife of the late Joel Mogaka Onkendi of Tindereti Gesima, Nyansiongo, Nyamira County. Mother to: Late Jared, Late Yabesh, William, Martha, George, Late Flora, Asna and John. Mother-in-law to: Pauline, Jane, Rose, Late Sam, Catherine, Mike, Malach and Peninah. Sister to: Rusariah, Annah, Eunice, Peris, Mary, Ayub, Late Tabitha Dinah, Late David, Yuniah, Charles and Joyce. Sister-in-law to: Onkendis, Manwas and Mosotis among others. Cousin to: Motaris among others. Grandmother to: Kevin Onkendi among others. The late Joseph Waweru Chege was born in 1920 in Mbogoini Village, Kahumbu location, Kigumo sub-location Murang’a County.

Son of late Chege wa Mutuanjau and the late Kanyi Chege. He was brother of the late Gachoki Kanyoni. L. Ezekiel Kinuthia Chege, late Wanjiku lthaya, late Nyambura wa Ndolo, Njoki Munjama, Jerusha Nyambura Obed, Gachiku Mwangi. He was married to late Eunice Michere and late Joyce Wamaitha. He was blessed with Bernard Chege Waweru, Late Jane Wanjiku, John Mbau, Francis Kinuthia, William Kabugua, Nancy Wanjiru, Sylvia Njoki of U.S.A, Samuel Wanyingi, Peter Mburu, Late Nancy Wanjiru, Margaret Wanjiku, Jane Njoki, George Kibandi, Bernard Chege, and Rose Nyambura. Grandfather of Eunice Michere Chege of Tanzania, Joseph Waweru Wanjiku (Nairobi), Joseph Waweru Chege of U.S.A, Robert Chege of U.S.A, Sharon Michere Njoki of U.S.A and 50 more others and 20 great grandchildren.

The body leaves Montezuma mortuary in Kabati on Friday 3/7/2020 at 8:00am. Thereafter proceed to his final resting place at his home Mbogoini, Kahumbu Location, Kigumo sub-location Muran’ga.

Wife of Paul Langat Too aka David. Daughter of the late Mzee David Chepkoi and Mama Monica Chepkoi. Daughter-in-law of Mzee Daniel Siele and Mama Borness Side. Loving mother of Winnie Chepkoech – Moi Tea Girls, Derrick Kimtai – Orero Boys High Sch and Mercy Chebet – Mary Immaculate Primary. Sister of Jane Chepkoi, Daniel Kibet, Joan Cheruto, Samuel Kipchumba, Robert, Emmanuel, Lilian Chepchirchir and Lydia Jemeli. Sister-in-law of the late Rachel, the late Loise, Rebecca, Barnabas, Lucy, Joshua, Benjamin, Sammy, Irene, Emily, Peter and Charles. She was a cousin, aunt and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 3rd July, 2020 for the funeral service and burial on Saturday 4th July 2020 at Chepletaibei village, Ollessos Division, Nandi East subcounty, Nandi County.

Daughter of the late Mr. Kirathi and Mrs. Wanjira. She was a wife to the late Mr. Gakuo. A loving mother to Mrs. Jane Wanja Kiguru and Mr. Andrew Kagi Gakuo. Mother-in-law to beloved Eng. Samuel Kiguru Mwangi and Mrs. Hottensiah Nyakio Kagi. She was also blessed with grandchildren namely: Mr. Kevin Kiguru and Mrs. Nancy Kiguru (U.S.A.), Ms. Linet Kiguru (M.D Bata Company Ltd, UG.), Mr. Griffin Kiguru (Carmax E.A. Ltd) and Mrs. Ivy Wanjiku, Mr. Kenneth Kiguru (PKF Kenya) and Mrs. Joy Kahora (Coca-Cola Company), Ms. Elizabeth Kagi (Former MCA Kiambu County), Mr. Phinas Kagi, Mr Alexander Kagi and Mrs. Beth Muranga. A beloved and blessed great-grandmother to many.

Friends and family will be meeting daily at the family home in Nyathuna, Wangige for prayers and funeral arrangements at 5.30pm.
