We are saddened to announce the death of Pius Maitho Njamura (Kenya Airways) who rested on 8th May 2020 after a long illness borne with fortitude and dignity.

Pius was husband to Esther Nyange Maitho. Father to Luka Xavier Njamura, Elise Gombe Wambui and Melanie Mumbi.

Son of the late Michael Njamura and the late Agnes Wambui Njamura.

He was preceded in death by his siblings the late James Mwangi, the late Catherine Mumbi, the late Patrick Nyamu and the late Mary Wangari, and has left behind his brothers Anthony Njuki and Moses Kariuki.

Son in law of Henson Nyange and the late Dinah Gombe. Relative to the Thiarara and Maitho families and in-law to the Nyanges.

The funeral will be at the family farm in Ongata Rongai. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home and proceed to the final resting place on Saturday, May 16th 2020 at 10.30 a.m.

Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, the family advises that the funeral will only be open to invited guests. The event will be live-streamed on Facebook on the Pius Maitho Final Journey Page.

It is with profound shock that we announce the sudden demise of two best friends Eliud Njogu Njenga (Mr. E) on 03/5/2020 and Agnes Wanjiru Njogu on 07/5/2020.

Njogu son of the late Njenga Wang’ang’a and the late Phyllis Wangari. Agnes daughter of the late Ndegwa Waicahi and Beatrice Nyokabi. Loving parents of Wangari, Nyokabi & Dan, Njambi & Ngaruiya and Njoki. Adoring grandparents of Eve, Ted, Nadal, Ian, Eliud, GG among others. Eliud was brother of the late Wang’ang’a, the late Veronica Njambi, the late Alice Njambi, Wairimu, Wanjiku, the late Nyambura, David and Jane. Agnes was sister of Njoki, the late Gathoni, Irungu, Mwangi, Wambui and Waruiru. They were uncle and aunt of many others.

The cortege leaves Mama Lucy Mortuary on Friday 15.05.2020 at 7am for the funeral at their home at Kabunge, Escarpment Jet scheme, Kimende.

Brother of the late Sammy Munyasya, Lydia Siku, Francis Munyasya, Erastus Munyasya, Nancy Mweu, Nzambi Ngovi, Kiseko Kitonyo, Bethsheba Maundu, Florence Ndwale, Titus Mbutu, Oscar Muvali, Clr Bendictor Masai and Alex Musembi.

Cousin of Hon. Kitungi, Rtd. Capt. David Masai and Nelly Mwanzia among others. Brother-in-law of Victor Kyulu Kasina, Joshua Kasina, Hon. Ezekiel Mweu, Mary Musyoka, Elizabeth Musembi, Evengeline Nguene, Sarah Koki, Lenah Munywoki among others. Uncle of Antony Kyulu, Flora Kofoed, David Ngovi, Ndaisi Siku and George Mbithuka among others. Grandfather of Robel, Maria, Leon, Rocky, Claudia, Gabriel, Geny, Sharon, Ian, Lyn, Imani, Rita, Nathaniel among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home on Saturday 16th May, 2020, at 6.30 a.m for a funeral service and burial at their home in Musuani Village, Kyome Location, Mwingi West, Kitui County.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us in mourning the demise of Thomas Chahayo. Thomas was born in 1936 and breathed his last on Thursday 7th May 2020 at 6:40 AM.

Son to the late Jonathan Shiokhunjira and the late Agnes Khabetsa. Loving brother to the late Adanasi, the late Rhoda, late Beritas, Dimitila, and the late Teresia. He has left behind a beloved widow, Tunai Chahayo. He had a benison of 11 children namely Elemina, Mary, the late Sarah, Peter, Jeddah, Amos, Josephat, Evelyne, Lydiah, Sammy, and Dancan. He left behind a generation of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

The cortege left St. Mary’s Mumias Hospital Morgue on Tuesday 12th May 2020 for his final send off on Wednesday 13th May 2020 at his rural home in Eshibuli Sub-location, Mukangu area in Kakamega County.

Until his demise Dr. Anthony Mbeja was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agriculture and Animal Science at Bukura Agricultural College.

He was a loving son to the late Michael Mbeja Onyango and Mama Maximilla Nekesa Mboka. He was brother to Pauline, Joseph, Kenneth, Margaret, Justine, Galdinus and Merciline. Step brother to John, Charles, victor, Bernard, Felistus, Caroline and Cecilia among others.
