It is with deep regret we announce the death of Mr Pravin Mulchand Somchand Khimasia in London, the UK on Tuesday, 14th April 2020.

He was Son of Late Mulchand Somchand Khimasia (Bhagwanji & Co) and Late Amritben. He was Son-in-Law of Late Jivraj Rajpar Shah (Novelty Emporium) and Late Kasturben. He was Husband of Shobha Pravin Khimasia.

He was Father of Kaajal, Purvi and Madhvi. He was Father-in-Law of Paul, Paul and Akash. He was Grandfather of Aarav, Som, Uma, Suri, Deven and Rohan. He was Brother of Sunitaben (Late Dr S.R.Shah), Late Usha (Late Dr P.K.Shah), Vinodbhai, Lata (Pradip), Bipin (Jayshree) and Sunil (Sucha). He was Brother-in-Law of Late Nilam (Ramnik), Varsha (Shirish) and Tanuj (Tejal). There will be no Prayer Meeting held due to the current pandemic situation and as per the Government Directives.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of Mbugua Kahacho, announce the passing of our matriarch, Regina Njeri Mbugua, on the 15th of April, 2020.

Regina Njeri was the daughter of the late Wairima Muriba and Njoki Wairima. She was the first wife of the late Josephat Mbugua Kahacho and co-wife of the late Mary Njeri Mbugua. Her siblings were the late Gathoni Gachuki, Wairimu Wamiti and Kimotho Wairima. She was mother of the late Raphael Kahacho, the late Stephen Wairima, Mrs. Mary Wamaitha Ngigi, Dr. Augusta Njoki Abate, Anthony Njoroge, Magdalene Wanjiku Wamae, the late Gabriel Kimotho, and the late John Bosco Muiruri. She was mother-in-law of Kevina Wanjiku Kahacho, Pauline Wairima, Joseph Ngigi, Prof. Aggrey Lemi Abate, Pascalina Njeri Njoroge, and Raphael Wamae.

Regina was grandmother of George Mbugua, Dennis Nguyal, Regina Njeri, Robert Wairima, Elizabeth Nyangabi, and Susan Wairimu; Martin Mbugua, Bernard Kahacho, Christopher Kamau,Victorla Njeri, Florence Waringa, Boniface Njoroge and Victor Kareru; John Bosco Mungai,Anthony Mbugua, Margaret Wanjiru, Regina Njeri, and George Wamburu; Patrick Abate, Likia Abate, Njeri Abate, and Josephine Abate; the late Martin Mbugua, Ndekere Njoroge, Catherine Njeri, Douglas Mbugua,Victoria Njeri, Pauline Mweru and Martin Mbugua; Irene Wamae, Regina Njeri, Anne Wanjiru, and Felista Wamaitha. She was also blessed with 61 great-grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Avenue Hospital Mortuary for her final resting place on the family farm in Kawira, Thika West, Kiambu County on Tuesday the 21st of April, 2020.

It is with broken hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Michael Njoroge Goro on 15 April 2020.

Loving son of Mr. Harun Goro Njoroge (Project Coordinator for SIVAP/DRSLP under Ministry of Agriculture) and Mrs. Tabitha Wanjiku Goro. Amazing brother of Corazane Goro (WFP) and Ruth Goro (Daily Choice Products). Grandson of the late Michael Njoroge Goro, the late Rahab Wanjiru Njoroge, the late Peter Waireri and the late Ruth Njoi Waireri. Loving nephew, Cousin and friend to many.

Until he rested, Michael was a student at the Egerton University main Campus in Njoro pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science.

Michael will be laid to rest in his home in Gathrongai, Narumoru ward, Nyeri county on 18 April 2020.

Fare thee well Michael, we loved you very much but God loved you more. Sing with the angels until we meet again. From God we come and to him we will return.

Mother of the late Irene Waithera Gakumo, the late Samuel Mwangi Ikinu, Josephat Maina Ikinu, Agnes Wanjiru Mwangi (USA), Pastor Dorcas Rigathi (House of Grace Church), Oscar Wambugu lkinu (Tangaza Pesa), Evangelist Simon Chege lkinu and the late Nyambura lkinu. Mother-in-law of the late Gakumo Mwangi, Nancy Muthoni Maina, Hon Rigathi Gachagua, Evans Mwangi (USA), Nancy Wambui, Benedette Medi Mwangi and Milka Wamaitha.

Grandmother of Allen Mwangi Gakumo, Virginia Wambui Ngugi, Patrick Ikinu Maina, Kamau Maina, Teddy Ikinu Mwangi and Lindsey Fochtman Ikinu, Nyambura Mwangi, Prince Mwangi, Keith ii(11Rigathi, Kevin Rigathi, Ikinu Wambugu, Wambui Mwangi, Wambui Chege and Violet Chege.

Great grandmother of lmani Wanjiru, Maina Kamau, Kibugi Kamau, Muthoni Kamau, Wambui Kamau, Carter Mburu, Parker Mburu and Aaliyah Mburu.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 24th April, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. for burial at her home in Ndunyu Chege, Kariara Ward, Gatanga Constituency in Murang’a County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mwalimu Mark Chogo Ligaga at the Nairobi Hospital ICU on 15/4/ 2020 following complications arising from multiple strokes.

Mark taught many as the principal of WECO, Kabete Technical School, Chavakali High School, Mangu High School, and Jamhuri High School. He was a member of the Likuyani District Education Board and an active member of the Friends Church Lugari Yearly Meeting. He was a humorous but authoritative man who shaped characters of many serving the nation in many spheres. A great historian, a memorable teacher and yet a continuous student of life. Mark won the respect of the intelligent, was fearless yet compassionate and demonstrated great strength and leadership, even in the most challenging circumstances. His motto in life was “Second To None”

Mark was the Son of Lt. Jonah Ligaga and Lt. Phoebe ldaya. Loving Husband of Priscilla Kamonya. Brother of Teresa Munangwe, Lt. Priscilla Alusa, Lt. Rose Anaya, Phineas Muhinji & Ruth Chahenza. Father of Nancy Waichanguru, Jillian Omindo, Lt. Anne Vutagwa, Maria Shipiri, Paul Ligaga, Steve Ligaga, Juliet Ligaga & Cynthia Chepkwony. Father-in-law of Elijah Waichanguru, Philip Omindo, Alex Shipiri, Evelyn Matoke, Florence Nandwa & Raymond Chepkwony. A doting grandfather to many.

Mark will be laid to rest at his home in Nangili, Likuyani Subcounty with close family in attendance. Arrangements are underway at Jacaranda Brook Nairobi.
