It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved father the late Eng. Michael Nyagwa Otula on the 16th January, 2020 after a very short illness.

Son to the late Samwel Otula Dote and the late Perez Hongo. Step son to the late Magdalina Otula, Martha Otula, Olik Otula. Husband to Pamela Adhiambo Nyagwa (Nyalunya Primary School). Father to Beryl Atieno, Eng. George Otula (Ministry of Energy), Marceline Awuor (Kenya Investment Authority), Martha Aoko (C & R Group), Priscila Achieng (Technical University of Mombasa), Felix Aol (Kenyatta University), and Debra Amondi (Xaverian Primary School). Brother to Alfred Miyumo Otula (UWC Hong Kong), Jane Otula, Bentz Ojuok, Ada Dete, the late Jenifer Aloyo, Teresia Tambo, Selina Ouma, Penina Ombija, Senior Assistant Chief (Kaloleni) Otieno K’Odhoch, Eng. Zablon Odhoch, Nyaori Odhoch, Johannes Amimo, the late Daudi Otula, Achola Otula, Orodi Otula and Ezekiel Otula.

The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary on 31st January 2020 and taken briefly to Nomiya  Church of Peace Nyamasaria Parish at 2pm.

Burial is slated on the 1st February 2020 at his home In Kisumu, Nyamasaria, Kasule sub location, Kolwa Central Location.

He was son to the late Nathaniel Muok and the late Mama Aska Omega.. Stepson to the late Jennifer Ajwang’ Muok and son in law to the late Paul Andrew Oruya and the late Dorcas Tabitha of ugenya kager. He was a loving husband to Pauline Oruya Muok. Father to Noel, Aska, Christie, Laureana and Paul. He was a brother to David Muok, Rebecca Opee, Andrew Kasuku Muok, Prisca Boyi, the late Wilkista Okoth, the late Damaris Okeyo and the late Lameck Owira. Step brother to Grace Omollo, Donau Nyacharo_Bernard Oseno, the late Jomo and the late Odhiambo.

The late Dr. Joseph Nyakwamba Muok will be laid to rest on February 7, 2020 at his ancestral home in Minya Village, Gwasi Location, Homa-bay County.

Dear sister of Victoria Chege (Kiambu), Mary Wanjiru (Kianyaga), Purity Ndumia (Mweiga) the late Rose Wambui, the late David Mwangi, Deborah Muthoni (TSC) and Harriet King’ori (Wilson Airport). Adoring aunt, cousin and a cheerful friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home at Imara Daima, Unique Estate and at her rural home at Kibirigwi, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege departs Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home Thika Road at 8am for funeral ceremony to be held at her rural home Kibirigwi, Ngurumo Road, Ndia constituency on Saturday 1st February 2020.
