It is with deep regret and sadness the passing away of Dr. Ramniklal Khetshi Devshi Shah, executive chairman of Richlands Insurance Brokers Limited, on Sunday 15th September 2019 after a short illness.

Husband to Kanchanben. Son of the Late Khetshi Devshi & the Late Amratben & Son-in-law of the Late Vakil Amratlal Virpar & the Late Maniben. Father to the Late Bimalkumar, Harsha of Richlands Associates & Durgesh of Richlands Insurance. Father in law to Bharti Bimalkumar, Rajesh Keshavlal formerly of PwC & Mona Durgesh. Grandfather to Purvesh of Geminia Insurance & Jilna, Archana & Meeraj of Super-foam, Pranali & Darsan (UK), the Late Mihir and Mishaal. Great grandfather to Aneeka-Jia Darsan (UK).

Brother to the Late Kantilal & Champaben, Narendra & Vinaben, the Late Kirti & Kailashben, the Late Harendra & Jayaben, the Late Radiatben & the Late Keshavlal, Manjuben & the Late Raichand, the Late Dinuben & the Late Mansukhlal and Sarojben & Shantilal. Brother in law to the Late Jayantilal & the Late Motiben, Harilal & Kasturben (USA), Kantilal (Vakil) & Vasantben, the Late Harshad & Hansaben, Navin & the Late Ushaben (UK), the Late Kundanben & the Late Amu and Vinuben & Manu (India).

We thank all the doctors plus the medical, nurses and support team at M.P. Shah Hospital for looking after and caring for him during his stay at the hospital.

Cremation will take place in Hindu Samshan Bhumi, Kariokor on Tuesday 17th September at 2.30pm.The cortege will be at Oshwal Religious Centre, Ring Road, Parklands from 12 noon & leave for Samshan Bhumi at 2.00pm.

The prayer meeting will be held at Oshwal Religious Centre, from 7.00pm on Tuesday 17th September with final prayers at 8.00pm.

Aunt of Nyariges, Maugos, lawyer Kennedy Obae, DO Julius Segera and Charles Maugo (KNH). Mother-in-law of Philip Nyachogo, Dr Atei Kerochi and Lawyer Danstan Omari. Grandmother of Denis Ondigo (Paramount Bank), Dr Chieta, Geoffrey (Agha Khan), Mose (UON), Patrick Ogega (Co-op Bank), Irene (Min. of Health) among others.

Main fundraising will be held on 17/09/2019 at 680 Hotel from 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo on 19/09/2019 at 8.00 am.

Burial will take place on 20/09/2019 at Nyaramba, Nyamira County.

Sister-in-law of the late Mokua, the late Nehemiah, the late Angwenyi, the late Nyatero, Elizabeth among others. Aunt of Douglas (Kisumu), Jared(Kisumu), Peter Mokua(Kisii), Joseph Nyamongo (Kisii) among others. The cortege leaves Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on 19th September 2019.

Burial will be held on 20th September 2019 at her home in Lesangero Sub-Location, Kisii County.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 17th September 2019 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial thereafter at her home in Migiti Village, Gakindu location, Mukurwe-ini Sub county, Nyeri County.

Loving father to Wanjiru Thuo (Nyahururu), Mary Mukenyi, Francis Mbucho, Jacinta Muthooni, Lucy Wanjiku, Wanja Kimani, Joseph Maina (Moonlight), Grace Waithira, Paul Ndungu, Elijah Muchiri, Njeri Boyd (UK), Jeniffer Nyoike (UK), James Nyoike, George Mbucho, Teresia Nyoike (USA), Beth Muthoni, Peter Kiramba and Lucy Nyoike (USA). The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral home on Thursday 19.9.2019 at 8.00am thereafter a requiem mass will be held at Gatitu Catholic Church at 11.00am. The burial will be held thereafter at his Kahunyu village home.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the untimely death of Lucy Wairimu Mwangi on September 7th, 2019. She was a student at Machakos Primary, Limuru Girls, and USIU. She Worked at Magnate Ventures (Nrb) and Coca-Cola Mombasa Branch.

Daughter to Robert Mwangi and Nancy Mwangi of Komesha Studios Machakos. Sister to Esther Muthoni, Martin Njuguna, Charles Gicheru and Kevin Mwangi. Sister-in-law to Monica, Shiffa and Matilda. A cousin, aunt and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Old T Tot Hotel Machakos and Ridgeway’s Leisure Garden Kiambu Rd Nairobi. Burial ceremony will be on September, 21st 2019 at Burii Primary School Muranga, and thereafter final rites at their home in Ndathini village Muranga.

Father of Catherine Wangui Kago, Florence Njambi Kago (Aryuv Agencies), Josphine Muthoni Mathia, Dr. Winnie Kago Waithaka and Catherine Wangui (Quina). Loving brother of George Mukora Kabena & Eunice Wangeci (Mombasa), Maryanne Muthoni Mburu & Henry Mburu Kamau (Gathanga). Step-brother of John Mukora Kabena (Tigoni), Andrew Mbugua Kabena, the late Peter Rugano Kabena, Cyrus Nyori Kabena, Jennifer Njoki Kabena, Martin Nganga Kabena. Son-in-law of Nelson Mathia Kabue, Fredrick Waithaka Kinge. Uncle and grandfather of many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Ruaka at 4.00pm daily for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 8.00am on Wednesday, 18th September, 2019 for burial. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Allomano Catholic Church Ruaka starting from 11.00am, followed by burial at his farm in Ruaka.

Cucu, as she was commonly known by her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and their age mates, was the wife of the late Mzee Ezekiel Ndii of Kambandi village, Muiru Sub-location, Mugwe Location, Chuka Division, Tharaka Nithi County. Mother of the late Harriet Kaburi, Joyce Mbaka, Franklin Mbuba Ndii (Director-Tourism Finance Corporation), Evelyn Mbae and the late Purity Gitonga. Step-mother of Mutegi Ndii. Daughter of the late Nkoroi Kureiya and the late Nkima Nkoroi. Step-daughter of Enisio Mugeni. Sister of the late Edith Ciamati and Ephantus Manyaki.

Grandmother of the late Enid Muthoni, Kellen Ndii (Africa 220), Josyline (KEMRI), Mutembei (Utalii), the late Mutwiri, Grace (Tourism and Wildlife) Gitonga, the late Jane Kawira, Peter Mwenda (Canada), Flora (London), Lisa, Carol, Mawira, Mwenda, Munene, Linda, Murithi (Jersey), Mutugi, Mwende, David Kimathi, Patricia Gloria Sanya, Murugi, the late Kirimi, Arnold and Wanja. Meetings to arrange her funeral will take place at PCEA St. Andrews Church Nairobi, on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th September, 2019. Daily meetings are taking place at her Kambandi home, Muiru Sub-location, Mugwe Location, Chuka Division, Tharaka-Nithi County.

Her funeral service will take place on Friday 20th September at PCEA Kambandi Church Chuka. Her remains will be laid to rest next to those of her late husband same day on 20th September, 2019 at her Kambandi farm.
